Good morning,
Hope everybody had a nice weekend? I just wanted to wish all the EC'ers today a good luck and also want to thanks everyone who replied to me about taking the week off during my EC AND ET.
Sophie: I feel the same as you, after taking the egg food injection 2 days now, I'm bit bloated, and I couldn't sleep very well yesterday.
Hope to hear the good news about he EC'ers today, lots and lots of eggs....

Aunty, your dream question made me laugh! I dream in both color and in black and white. My normal everyday dreams are in color, but my happy dreams are always in black and white. LOL The strange thing is that my nightmares are always in black and white but things like blood are in color. Yes I know I am very strange! LOL
I am so sorry that oscar is not any better, but trust me doesn't hate you! They always look that grumpy! I discovered last night that one of dh's fish is "expecting." I walked by and said "gee that must nice".....now she looks at me like your pathetic! LOL
Well I am off for some retail therapy, need som new steamy books!

Just a quick one as should be marking essays!
Aunty - AF has stopped (I think) and my scan showed my lining was getting thicker so don't need E2 patches! I have 12 follies on my right and 7 on my left - although they are all abit small! They are going to call me after blood results to see if they are going to put my meds up!
So I feel quite positive - I just need them to grow now!
Hope all the EC's have gone well today - can't wait to read you later!

Yes Aunty, I'm all excited to see the ultrasound on Wednesday, amazing how the evolution of medecine can do. Before in the old days, not much you can be done about treating our cases, it was hopeless cases.

Hi Ladies,
I had my EC this morning and out of 17 follicles I had 1 cyst and 10 good eggs. I was so upset as I have never had empty follicles before, always had eggs in them but the consultant said that my whole treatment was perfect and that 10 was a perfect number for them. It meant I am less likely to be at risk of OHSS and more likely to produce better embryos. So I will just have to wait and see how many of them were good enough to fertilise, etc.
I will keep you informed.
Ems and Cookholmes...hope your EC's went well ladies...I was thinking about you.

Hello girlies!
Whew, lots of little notes here and there! mmmh nouna, looks like our clinics are different! I'll only have a blood test tomorrow. They start doing u/s only on day 7 or 8 of stimming, and then every two days. The nurse said the trigger shot is usually prescribed after u/s #2. So you feel bloated, too? I hope it's not too bad. The light sleep is a little weird, though. I don't feel particularly stressed, nor preoccupied. I went to bed after meditation last evening so I was very relaxed... yet I feel like there are a lot of things happening in my head while I sleep. My dreams are more vivid and my mind is definitely busier.

I'm so excited for you that your apt is tomorrow! An hour, huh? It's curious that they do the sham transfer so early in the process! They'll only do mine on the last ultrasound before my EC... Will your DH be with you? Don't worry, I'm bloated but I waaaaay in known territory here! Hehehe because of all my adherences and abscesses before my surgery, bloating used to feel much much worse! It's been there since this morning, but it's really not the end of the world. I'll pop a couple of Tylenols if it de-focuses me from my patients today. But so far so good. I'll try fennel tea and see if it helps.

I'm really glad that the EC went smoothly and that your docs are happy with the results! 10 follies sounds like a good number indeed, and I bet it's great to be told not to worry about OHSS. I hope you get a good rest today! When will they tell you how many embies you have?

For any other treatment, I wouldn't mind, but not for anything remotely linked to gyn. My doc knows about it and told me that of course I would be free to refuse. They are a private clinic anyway, so they only get residents periodically.
Okay... gotta go paint that face, pack and leave for work! See ya in my office guys!

Adoption course starts March 19th
OK ladies this has to be quick as I am swamped at work today. So I had my ultrasound and blood work this morning and they are estimating my ER either Thursday or Friday!!!! I have 19 follies 11 measuring a little under 10 and the biggest at 19.5. I go tomorrow again for blood work and then I will know for sure when I am going for my collection! I am so excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You know me, of course I have a question. The ones under 10mm is there any chance of an egg being in there??
OK I will write personals later but I will be checking in throughout the day on all you!!
