Nicki- 28 days to your appointment will fly in...be productive and your your time to look after yourself and prepare your body dfor all the drugs your gonna have to take....Pamper time and healthy eating!!!!

julie- niccki is right i would be so up tight and angry that i have to wait another 3 wks before i get an explaination for all the water in uterus!!!! You are so strong...It sounds like you are taking it so well focus ing on your 5 strong embies take care sweetie

Hi Girlies,

Just a quickie before I have to go and teach again (teaching really does get in the way sometimes!!).

Nickie - before you know it you will have started your IVF and then you'll be wishing you had more time to prepare and pamper yourself!! Enjoy the next few weeks and it will soon be here! Great news about the funding tho!

Julie - excellent news on the 5 embies, I too would be a bit peeved if I had to wait 3 weeks before finding out the causes and possible problems. You would think that they would have a little more sympathy and try and put your mind at rest a little, especially as you have been through enough with the IVF alone!!

Jen - you really do know how to shop girl!! I hate it! Hope you had a nice weekend away.

HAPPY WEEKEND LADIES!!!!!

I lost my grip this morning so rang the hospital....they still wouldn't/couldn't tell me anything!!!!!!!! I said I was very worried about coming so near to ET and then BAM and no explanation!!.........Got home and I have had another letter from the hospital....cancelling 7 Feb with clinician and now on 26 Jan with the actual Dr who did my EC ..making me wonder more now as was expecting a scan Roll on next Friday xxxx

Julie - OMG what a merry go round you have been on! I am so sorry you have had to wait after all that ...... but as Jen says your body will be a temple by April and 5 embies - that's absolutely fab And April we be round in no time at all. Jen - your shopping spree sounds fabulous! Good on you. Your big day is so soon! When do you leave Scotland? Re treatment - honey your time will be here soon enough just you wait and see. Hi to everyone else

I've beenaway most of this week in Liverpool with work. Has beena good distraction to be honest. Just trying to keep on an even keel - ie keep sane!! Have got a gym session and meeting up with 2 different friends tomorrow to keep my mind busy and away from straying thoughts of BFN.... only 6 days to go. Keeping everuything crosssed

Healthy eating, generally going well, and feeling so much better for eating healthy food, however it's been Af this week, and i needed chocolate!!!

I cant help it, when i am on my period i need chocolate, so been naughty these last 2 days, that's all about to stop again!!!

Hi My PheonixFriends

Hi everyone I had a great weekend... Adam and i had a great day on our on on saturday and then had a brill night out with Sister on Saturday night. Sunday we were down at adam's parents for 10.30am to find Broc had been a good boy and fine for them to look after. he will be spending 2nd march -18th March with them while we get married....

NICKI 2 days of having a litttle choc won't do much especially if you cut it out again. I had a couple of glasses of wine on Saturday ( 1st drink since new year) but thought i have been so good on Zit'a detox that after 10 days i warrent a wee glass or 2. I too am off the booze and healthy eating again until wedding!!!! ( or realistically hen night) this night has now changed and we are going out for a meal then going to the theatre to see the 'Vag Monalogues'. Most people are too skint to go to stobo with me so i have booked a few things at a Glasgow beauty place and am going for micro-dermabrasion...let you know what it's like...

Julie- honey what a byummer all this to-ing and fro-ing what's it all about???? at least the clinic and Doc will see you sooner rather than later for your answers. How does your uterus feel to you now??? Has the fluid gone down?. It's a bit of a daft question cause it takes me 3 months to loose all the stimming fluid etc that i put on in a cyle of tmt...But just wondering if you feel better in yourself?

lisa- Good to hear your still loing after yourself...even doing a gym sessio. hope you had fun with your friends and now you only have 3 more days of 2ww to go???? Any twinges???? baby dust x x

Hi girlies


Hope you have all had a good weekend. We had a quiet one....I had an alcoholic blow out on Saturday..well, a few vodkas as that is all it took!!! Did me good I think. DH's parents came round last night, mid movie, unannounced for the 3rd time this week.... I don't mind so much but they moved in with us for a few weeks last year, which turned into 6 months, and we can sense they are going to ask again. Couldn't bear it even though I love them to bits - it is really hard work. Hence me & DH had a row as he feels piggy in the middle....Lets just hope they don't ask! (he does have 4 other brothers but they have house full of kids....)

As for the treatment I feel tons better in myself and JEN the bloating has practically gone. Feel more myself again now but my boobs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Soooooo sore and I look like I have had a boob job!! AF not come yet....How long does it take? the nurses said a few days from EC as not having ET? Terrible cramps though - will it be a worse AF than normal?

JEN - Glad you had a good weekend, you sounds really chipper! Glad too that broc was good for his grandparents!! Are you all sorted for the wedding now? Is it flying by for you? Seems to be coming round fast!!!

NIKKI - Well done on the healthy eating. I decided to take this break in treatment as a good reason to shed a few pounds that have crept on, starting today....! NOT A CHANCE!!! Why is it that when you put your mind to eat you wan't everything you can't have?! So good on you for sticking with it. The choloate is a deserved treat!

LIS - How was your weekend? Hope had a good time! Not long for you now. Sending you HUGE PMA and babydust and anything else cyberspace will allow. YOU WILL NOT BE NEEDING THAT APPOITMENT ON 31 JANUARY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lucy - Hi hun. Hope you are ok. I have no idea what grade the embies are.....have a sheet of questions to ask on Friday when I go so will let you know!!!! Never thought to ask at the time with everything else that was going on .

Just popping in see that u are all ok, I have my blood test appointmnet now on the 9th Feb for egg share program, to check the eggs are good enough to donate..... it's gonna cost £350!!!

Do any of you Northern girls have snow yet??? Apparetnly on our news it's coming down south, tonight.... yikes!!!!

Not had snow yet in this new house, I hope its not too bad, as we live in avillage now, not had snow here, worried in case we get snowed in!
Probably one disadvantage of village life!!

Lisa, I am still keeping everything crossed for ya, really hope that you get that BFP this time!!!

Julie, stay strong, and dont worry about AF coming, it'll come in due course!!! The more u worry the more it'll be late!!! but i would of thought that it'll be due 2wks after EC, but hey not sure, just what i think!!!!

JULIE- glad to hear all your swelling has gone down and you are feeling more like your old self! Af can be quick as in my 1st ivf or slow to come as in my 2nd...Mother nature has a way of being messed up by the meds so expect things to be differant as far as AF's timing is concerened. If crampa are bead expect her soon. Also the meds help produce a thicker healthy lining so she may be heavier too... Lov x x

nicki- ta for the pm..it's okay honey i wasn't offended that you thought i was soooooooooo old !!! LOL
Hope you did get snowed in...nothing better than sitting by the fire drinking hot choc and brandy After having a day of being outside building snowmen and sledging!!!! Especially while everyone else is fighting to get to work in the slushy wet slure of melting snow!

£350 is quite a lot to test your eggs for someone else??? Could the clinic not meet you half way there?

I emailed the ISDIA in russia for Egg Donor info today...It's been praying on my mind and i can't seem to stop thinking about babies...so i thought i better take the plunge and get all the info before the wedding. Adam wants to wait until after the wedding but i need to know what tests I need to do NOW!!! Just sent the email so will keep you informed when i get more info.
