Hey Sophie,

When is your estimated date for ER? The doctor told me that I should at least take the injections for 9 days, so my extimated date for ER might be on January 30, depend on how fast I react to the medecine.
I'm taking Puregon: dose 50
and repronex: 1 ml
What about you?

For the ladies who did the ER, for how long did you take the med before the ER?

as for your question about the 10mm there could be an egg in there but the chance of it being mature enough at that size is nill...saying that you have 3-4 days of growing time left and im pretty sure they grow about 1-2 mm a day so they do have enough time to play catchup the last few days of stimming can show amazing changes it always seems slow at first and can be dissapointing but yours sound great to me bearing in mind i was told i only had 5 good size follies last time (and we got 11 mature eggs) so dont put all your hopes on what the scan says

Lisa - 10 eggs sounds great - cheering your DH's soldiers on to make them great embryos!

Erin - I don't know about whether there is an egg in the 10mm follie. My understanding is that follies should be between 18 -24mm. i think the egg in a 10mm follicle would be too immature. You have a few days left of stimming yet though and I think they can grow 2mm a day, which would mean that by Thursday it might be big enough? I'm sure these lovely ladies will be able to answer you better because I am just guessing!

Just did my first shot this morning, the hardest part was plucking up the courage to push the needle through the skin but it is good to be finally starting the injections

Hi everyone

Thanks for all your good luck messages. Sorry I haven't posted before now but the sedative I had this morning has made me feel really sleepy!!

So, EC went fine. They only got 3 eggs but that's 1 more than last time so I am pleased. She said they all looked good quality and DH's swimmers looked good too, so now we wait for call in the morning between 9 and 10 am to let us know whether they've fertilised.

Transfer is going to be at 9am on Thurs. Last time they transferred on day 2 but this time its day 3. Think it just down to the Consultant's timetable.

Will pop on with an update tomorrow.

Lisa - glad you went ok today and 10 eggs is perfect - well done! Fingers crossed for the next stage honey. xxxx

It is great to see everyone getting into their cycles. Today was my ET and the first time my husband came in with me...I think he learned a lot. The doctor's office said that I was officially on "princess status," that is fantastic. The procedure was actually the least painful compared to all of the other things I have had to endure. The doc said that there is approx. 55% chance.

I hope everyone is doing very well. I have my fingers crossed for you all of you. 11 days until my test!

Well done hunnie - 3 = 3 more chances than u had last month Remember last cycle when we only had 2 eggs each and they both did well and fertalized perfectly, so will ur wee 3 ones. Day 3 of transfer is good too, they will be able to tell more from the quality of the embryo and give u back the 2 which has its better chances (altho u already know this lol) im so pleased for u hun, roll on 2 weeks when u get ur BFP, im so looking foward to it

mom20: I'm happy everything turned out ok. Don't feel stupid--If something doesn't feel right with your body, you have to ask questions 'cause there could really be something wrong. I'm glad you asked and I don't think you're stupid!

Nouna: I started the stims on Jan 5 and triggered on Jan 15, So I took the stim meds for 10 days (because u don't take them the day of the trigger). It would have been 9 days, but I was postponed a day b/c bloodwork showed estrogen levels were a little high.

well a mock transfer is when the Dr pretends hes doing a transfer using same process that he would if he was transfering your embies this is to make sure he has a nice clean entry and drop point...LOL some clinics do it way before you get to that point but i think 3 times in my Dr pretty much knows my workings so he does mine right before the actual transfer it lets him set up where hes going to put my little ones...i love the flash of light when the babies get dropped off i said to my Dr if my kids glow in the dark im coming back to see you

Aunty.... LOL on the fish story. My Dr. told me last time that he took a road map of my uterus while I was asleep for the ER so he was ready for the ET. Guess that counts as a mock ET. 2 More days til your suppression check. Yipee!

My U/S went well today, ovaries are doing what they are supposed to be doing which is nothing and lining looks good. Stimming away here with my next U/S and B/W scheduled for 2/5.
