I am mad busy at the moment but thought I would check in and see how everyone is doing? all good I hope had my 12wk scan day and alls good..waheey I am sure all will be good now ich is an amazing relief now I can think about n nurseries etc.... wishfhul thinking! we are like a lot of you are, horrendously poor at the moment!! so will have to save some pennies!

Angellica really pleased to hear that all went well with your 12 week scan yesterday. I have mine tomorrow and cant wait to make sure everything is ok. I am getting a bit anxious because i have been getting pains in my ovaries again and i have backache every so often so can't wait to seen my doc.
Right there with you on the financial front, i will be coming back to London soon because a friend had a baby a couple of months ago and so has maternity clothes and newborn clothes which will be greatly appreciated. There are some fantastic baby shops here in Spain and i am looking forward to going inside rather than getting upset looking through the windows in fact if all is well tomorrow there are some great ones next to the clinic so we might have to have a peep.

Jovigal good luck tomorrow on your scan . I didn't really get ms until after my 2nd scan and even now i think i have been quite lucky because i don't feel crap everyday. Everyone suffers differently so don't worry.

Nictor how did your shopping trip go? Sounds fun it must be good to have family who are pregnant with you. Did you get anything??

To the ladies who have moved over to the summer babies i check in on you all the time and will be joining you soon

Ellie- Hope everything goes well tomorrow and then you can officially announce your news. Yeah! I have mine a week wednesday and I'm getting pretty nervous now. Just want to get it over and done with so I can relax slightly!

Speak soon, got to go and do some more decorating. It's never ending! Does anyone know what they say about painting whilst pregnant? I thought the modern paints were ok but started to panic a bit last night about the fumes! Bit late now really but still panic about so much.

well, we just got back from our scan. We are officially 7wks today, based on LMP. However, the baby is measuring at 6w4days. RE was able to pick up a heartbeat, no rate yet, too early he said. Were any of you measuring smaller at your 1st or 2nd scan? I was down after we left but am doing better.

Jovigal Congratulations on your scan. I am sure that i have heard of people on here measuring smaller than they thought and i think that most of the time it is due to late implantation. Relax i am sure you are fine, has your doc asked you to go back for another scan soon? I went for my 2nd scan when i was 9 weeks and could hear the hearbeat so it is probably to early yet to detect rate. It must have been great to see.

I had my scan today and we got to see her wiggling about ( it looked like she was dancing) My doc said everything is progressing well and no problems. I am so relieved because i had worked myself up this weekend with all my aches and pains but was told my sore ovaries are due to the uterus stretching, i am now officially of my nasty suppositories and can have a good night sleep rather than getting up at midnight to do it. I also told people today which felt so good saying the words "I am pregnant" I have waited so long for it.
Angellica we are due the same day 31st July so we can see who is the closest.

thanks Ellie. Yes, I go back for a repeat scan in 2 weeks (I'll be 9wks based on LMP then). RE said today that he would continue to see me a couple more visits to monitor me closely before he releases me. Great to hear your scan went well. I've already let the word out. We were so excited, I wanted the world to know.

Jovigal..my first scan at 7 weeks my baby measured 4 days behind,but my nurse sais in these early scans they give or take 4 days anyway..when i bled last week,i was 10weeks and baby measured 2 days behind,so it just shows that try not to worry,everything will be fine in the end..

Ellie,im so glad your scan went well and you can now tell everyone..Did you have a peep at the baby shops..

Anjellica..glad your scan went well too..its such a relief to see for yourself that everything is ok,isnt it?

CasyP..not sure about the painting thing,but with todays modern paints,id imagine you'll be fine..

As for me,my shopping trip went well,i fell in love with a pram its called the bugabooo,but the downside is,all in with pram,buggy,carseat,changing bag,and footmuff it costs an eyepopping £875.00 DP says as its out first i can have it but think i'll need to re think!!!

Just checking in to see how you all are doing...I've been spending more of my time on the summer site.

Nictor--We'll be seeing you soon over there, right? I've been just as shocked as you at some of the prices! Especially for two! (I personally feel we IVF girls should get automatic disounts, considering how much it cost us to get our little ones, right?)

I'm glad to hear your U/S are going so well! Jovigal, don't worry about the slightly smaller size...I hear that happens with IVF....late implantation?

CaseyP--I'm not sure about the paint thing. My DH said he would be happy to do the painting, considering we're keeping it pretty simple, and our nursery is small. I figure I can help with taping, etc.
