Just a quick post before I snap of to bed!

Sassy, my DH is huge ARMY "freak" and is dying to know where you got your tank from! Please share so he can leave me alone!!!! LOL

Well I wish all of you luck, just in case I am not around for the rest of the week. DH and I are tossing around the idea of going to the Mall of America and a little road trip to get some high powered lights for his silly fish tank(s), so gl my girls!

Sitting, waiting

Post by phxivf »

Thank you for your positive thoughts...my embies are snuggling in! I am on a 48-hour princess status.

Do any of you feel that you are not kept totally informed by your ERs office? I hate to complain, but I feel like I am always the last to know about things and if I did not call them, they would not call me. This office is supposed to be the best in the State.

I was supposed to my ET on Sunday and found out seconds before I was leaving that they would not be able to do the transfer....never was able to talk to the doctor. The next morning I got a call, as I was on my way to work, that they were going to to the transfer that day at noon. I was really excited, but really confused. I also had to find a way to get ot of work. We transferred three embies and froze another three. For the first time, my husband came in with me, he was so sweet and supportive and ready to pass out!!

Now, it is just a waiting game, I guess. It makes me nutty. I am trying to stay "conservatively optimistic." It is sooooo hard. Sometimes, I am thinking of baby names and then other times I am thinking, don't get too excited.

I wil get to personals soon. Time to spend time with the hubby.

Hello ladies,

ems, 2 eggs fertilized is perfect. Awww, don't feel inadequate, yeah sure we all want 50 eggs and 50 embies, but what are we really gonna do with all those, really?? Do we need them? NO. Your body just chose to give you exactly what you needed, nothing less, nothing more. Good luck with the ET, and don't be hard on yourself. Sending you a big warm hug

Charlie, for me the EC was nothing 'cause I was sleep. I felt the speculum going in in the beginning and the fluid they used to rinse the cervix..then I woke up :D . I agree with Aunty that the hardest part of the ET was holding my bladder. I actually ended up emptying my bladder at the dr's office b4 the ET b/c I couldn't hold it any longer. Then while waiting in the waiting room, I drank a lot of water from their fountain to fill it back up b4 they called me in. I believe the nurse said they needed the bladder full so that the dr. could see the bladder on the monitor and know exactly where it was and not puncture it with the catheter...and it was a HUGE black mass on the monitor...there was definitely no missing it! I was so relieved to get it over with just to go relieve my bladder...I definitely drank too much!

Sassy, I feel you on the lullaby. Good idea! LMAO!

Aunty, good luck with your suppression check....bring on the egg food!

Fed, good luck with ER on Thursday. My trigger had to be in the butt.

cook, good luck with your ET.

Macca, Good luck with your transfer today.

jodic, I've been thinking about you, hun...Hope everything is much better with you now.

Many, many, warm thoughts and lots of baby dust to everyone!!

well ladies...
jemima: always good to see you pop in here to check on all of us! Glad to hear your start date is right around the corner.

Aunty: anxious to hear how suppression check goes for you...

Mia: you didn't get my pm??? ooo that means it is out floating in the black hole of space... ooooo, and it contained all my deepest, darkest secrets... and the code to the nuclear "football"! ok, maybe it wasn't that important  , but it was a pretty cool pm, if i do say so myself (and of course, i do!). I just looked, and as far as this site is concerned, i never wrote the masterpiece. So, will try this again! As for your embryos... fantastic!!! It is looking really good for you! Oh, nice call on the sushi! i am envious... love sushi, and kept reminding myself last wk to go before ET, and now i only have tomorrow night... don't know if i want to risk eating it day before ET. will see (probably depends on how much comfort i need after embryo report tomorrow  ). Good to have my clinic partner back!

tc: ahh, yes, the tank. It appears to have been quite the "hit" heeheehee. go to www.emotihost.com, click on "enter here" and scroll down to "violent" and it is in there. oh, that sounds terrible, doesn't it. oh well, violent i am! There is all sorts of good stuff there! (check out the one where the spiders swarm the smiley... almost used that one!). greetings to dh.

phx: glad to hear you are "princessing" it well! As for clinics... i have been very happy w/mine. If i call to speak w/RE, always calls me back sometime that day or evening. Staff in general have been very helpful. I can imagine it would be frustrating if you feel that your clinic is not very responsive.

Rachel: glad to hear the evil AF behaved this month!

I came back and edited out my long explanation re: my embryo report. Let's just say it wasn't what i was hoping for. We'll leave it at that. i am hoping for good news in 24 hrs.

Sassy, Im praying that you will have great news on 24 hours. Hug...

Ems, Good luck on ET. I believe both of them are prefect n healthy embryo.

Mia, I love Sushi. Thats no 1 I will miss if Im pregnant. I know you will too... :D Your embryos are prefect. Best luck on ET. This time will work for you. We will pray for you.

Shantala, sorry the ET trial was pain. I think what Auntie said was right. I forgot the pain cause I was very serious looking to the monitor. I hoped I would see balls on monitor waving to me. :?

Auntie, coming to this thread is the most i want now. I really enjoy to have friends here. I dont really enjoy to meet other people beside you here. They are starting to comment about my hair. Yes, The curly showed up :(

Sophie, how are you? I hope you will see amazing change soon. Btw, I really enjoy reading your research. Thank you for sharing with us. If you don’t mind, if you find anything about flying after ET, would you please share me? Souris already gave some info. Im thinking may be there is more info about this. I did my 1st IVF aboard, about 3 hours by flight. On my 2WW, I did only lying on bed. My clinic only recommended a day bed rest after ET. But I didn’t know what to do. I was alone n didn’t know anybody there, also the worst thing I had no money to go shopping :D :D So I just watched DVD on my small rented room. I only went out 3 days per week for accu n internet rental. I agree what you said about total bed rest could be not good for implantation. So on next cycle, Im planning to go home after ET. But I don’t know the exact time. Some said the best to fly a day after ET immediately, some said 3 days, and some said a week. We know that the embies will implant on day 6-10 after ET. I don’t think that during that time I can fly safely. Im afraid may be gravitation will do something to the implantation. What do you think? Anyway, What is IBS? Mentioned a lot here lately. Good luck on stim.

Hi to everyone else. If you find any info about my question to Sophie, would you please let me know? I have problem to communicate with my clinic by email. (I think we are on the same boat PhxIVF) Thank you very much.

Best luck again to Denise, Tony, Macca, n Erin

Luv to All

All you beautiful ladies are on your way!!! So much love and baby dust to you all!!!

SS- doing an AF dance for you sweetie! thanks for asking, yup the belly has a bump, it is amazing!

Sophie- when I was eggies growing I was a slow starter then BAM they all decided to grow at once to, Just take it 1 day at a time :) Grow eggies grow!

Cook- Best of luck !!! I am thinking of you!!!

Aunty- YEAH your time is coming, good luck with the scan hope AF is being nice to you!

PhxIVF-Hang in there, I too had many last minute calls, but I tried to remember how delicate everything they are dealing with is and many times they don't know til last minute, I did learn to call when I had ANY question, and sometimes that helped me out, found out many things the hard way along the bumby ride. but I just had to keep telling myself, to them it is their job, to me this is EVERYTHING, but hoping for the best for you!!!!

Rachel- Hope AF isn't being to hard on you!!!! 1 step closer right :)

Sassy- hehehe whenever I drive by my clinic I say hi to my frozen embies, and tell them mommy will make them warm someday heheheeh! I really hope your embies make it thru the delicate stage for you!!! everything crossed here for you!!!!

Erin - yup I was a belly trigger too!!!!! that one hurt the most for me!!!!!
bruised the next day,,, woohoo you are so close!

I wish all of you the best, think of you all so often and hope all your dreams come true!!!!

love bec

sorry haven't been around for a while but huge personal stuff to deal with. Dh has decided he doesn't want to be married anymore and has left me, he has however said he still wants to go ahead with the treatment and will consent to the FET. I however, am all over the shop and not sure whether I'm coming or going. I am a blubbering wreck. I can't believe he would do this to me and especially now of all times, it would be bad enough at a normal time without my hormones and emotions all over the place. I am trying to just take one day at a time, I am still doing the injections and am going to still go ahead with the FET, so I will either be a single mum or not at all!!! Although the odds are against me with the stress I'm under

Sorry for no personals I don't really know what I'm doing
