Hi Ladies-

I wanted to wish Aunty lots of luck today!! I cant wait for you to get your BFP!

Becca- I did not think that shot was bad at all. It did not hurt at all. The only shot that I did not like was the Repronex, that one would bruise me and hurt.

OK got to try and work today. I am to excited about tomorrow to even focus!

Love you all!

Erin- I am so glad yours didn't hurt :)
maybe it depends on the kind of drug it is??? ahhh so weird how many different approaches all lead to the BFPS!!!!!!!!!!

1st follicule scan

Post by nouna »

Hello Ladies,
I would like to wish good luck for Aunty, who is having her supression check today and thanks Chantala for thinking of us and wish u all the best.

I went to do my Ultrasound today, everything seems normal , the doctor said that my follicules didn't grow yet and it is not uncommon because I'm on my fourth day only, they will let me know if I should take more doses of the med this afternoon after the blood test results. I 'm going again for Ultrasound and blood test on Friday morning , hopefully we will see something growing.
Sophie, I had similar result to you and it is very comon, so don't worry about it, I hope your follicules grows fast too.

Charlie: How was the follicules scan today?

Hi gals! I haven't posted for so long! I sneak a peak every once in a while, but I've been too busy that I couldn't keep up - so many amazing girls in this thread!

I have some good news that I wanted to share! I'm pregnant! My beta was done 10dp5dt and it was 235! I am secretly hoping this might mean twins, but I'm just happy to be pg and I am enjoying the moment! The 4th IVF is the charm, right? I have my first US on the 30th. I was so convinced that I wasn't pg this time, I almost didn't want to take the call from RE's office. I started spotting at the doctors office right before my hcg, and I couldn't believe it. So, I was really depressed for the next 5 hours thinking it was BFN until I got the call. I made the nurse repeat it a few times!

Haylie, Words can not express how you must feel. I'm thinking of you and I am so impressed with how strong and determined you are! I hope that this FET works and your dream of becoming a mom come true.

Good luck to all the girls with test dates tomorrow and the 26th! I can't wait to see your BFP results! Baby dust to all of you!

Okay ladies...I did the ultimate no no last nigt and this morning...I took 2 HPT's and both were POSITIVE! I am trying not to read too much into that since I am having my blood test tomorrow, but for now, my nerves are calm and I am at ease. I'll let you know how it turns out tomorrow. Good luck to everyone!

hey ladies

right, thought i would have my sandwich and catch up here in my lunch hour so here we go....

charlie - what do you teach?? i feel your nervousness about the EC/ET and although i'm still a bit nervous and although i did have a painful trial ET it really hasnt put me off the real thing. for some strange reason, its actually calmed me quite a bit. although it was painful the pain went the minute she finished and that was it. all done. really, dont worry!!! (can you please remind me of my words when it comes to it and i'm crapping it?! ) oh bum, just realised i stole your ticker...will have to change it! oops!

macca - 4 embies - thats great!!! let us know how your ET went today!!

sophie - i think there was some confusion with this "long weekend" business. i thought i remembered you saying that you had the last patient and then none till tuesday and thought that was a friday so assumed it was a long weekend. anyway, doesnt matter now! no, my DH was not at the trial with me....he was going to take the day off work but i told him not to worry as he would need other days off that are more important...and he's had a lot of time out lately due to illness. so i took a friend (female) instead, which was hilarious as they thought we were a couple!! so sorry to hear you are having troubles with your scan times/lack of stimm meds/etc. hugs hunny!! oh, and i just read the post to say you can get your meds ok. phew!!! good luck with your us tomorrow!!

aunty - just read your post about my ET trial (missed it somehow earlier)...thanks for the encouraging words. they did it with an empty bladder this time so like you said, hopefullty with a full bladder i'll have other things to worry about! lol. not sure if i was tense or not as they did the scan immediately before the trial and that was completely fine so i assumed i was relaxed...anyway, not to worry now. thank you!!! let us know how your suppression check went. cant wait!!

arizona - well done for doing your first jab!!!

ems - 2 embies, thats great news!!! it does only take 1 (or 2 in your situation  )...really praying for a strong BFP for you!!

phx - well done on your ET. you put my mind at rest by saying that your ET was the easiest part compared to other stuff. a 55% chance, huh? thats great!!! hope you're coping on your 2ww.

becky - hey lady, how are you?? not long till your app now!! woohoo!

ange - glad your u/s went well. way to go!! i laughed about your full-bladder-story as i had the same thing yesterday. they told me over the phone they wanted me to have a full bladder so i started drinking at 8am and by the time i got there at 12.30pm ready for my 1.30pm appointment i could barely stand up. can you imagine my relief when they said i need an empty bladder?!?!?! definitely one to remember for next time...start drinking a lot 2 hours before, not 4-5 hours!!!

sassy - yes, big brother!!! omg, what a scandal this year. to be honest, i dont think its been as good as the other years and i think the show has lost its touch and should just finish now. you probably heard about the bullying/racially discrimination debate between jade goody and shilpa...blimey, dont they have better things to do?!? well done on your 8 embies!! i must say i strongly agree with your dh about the ones that are lost being weak. i really believe that they were not meant to be. but anyhow, 8 is fantastic!!!

cook - blimey!!! never heard of your condition but sounds awful. well, the good thing is that they know what it is and you can prepare yourself for it now but what a terrible thing to have to go through. hugs!! but 17 embies!! thats amazing!!!

angie - how did your first accu go?? i will start mine as soon as i start downregging.

lara - not long now till your scan!!! haha, you made me laugh...i would love to become one of your fellow pin cushions!

tony - how did the EC go??

emma - you made me laugh about playing your dh at his own game!! you go girl!!

hopeful - 14 is fantastic!!! when do you find out how many have made it to blast stage?? i'm so sorry about your REALLY insensitive friend. yes, its great that she's pregnant with twins but to really rub it in like that just sucks!! gggrrrr!!!

ss - lovely to hear from you!!! cant wait to hear how your suppression check went. not sure if i can start earlier just yet...will definitely find out on the 30th!

erin - of course we will be counting down your 2ww with you!!!

jem - great to hear from you sweetie!! you made me laugh about the martine mccutchon lookalike thing!! 28 days...wow, thats gone fast.
cant wait for you to start!!

tc - i love road trips. have a good time! (getting the fish lights! )

bec - OMG, your ticker is going to be down to 6 months....etc soon, how scary!! i'm still so excited!!

haylie - OMG, i am so sorry!!!!! i dont even know what to say apart from you know where we all are and you know we are all here for you!!! lots of special hugs!!!

nouna - glad your scan went well. good luck with your scan on friday!!

lori - WOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! thats amazing and fantastic numbers!!! cant wait till you have your scan!!

AMD - from what i can gather (by now) i guess that means you're preggers. your hcg shot would have been out of your system a long time ago, wouldnt it?? anyway, a very careful congratulations!!!!

omg, i am so, so sorry about my long post!! please forgive me!

xx

just a quick question for the ladies who have had trial ETs - did you have a full or empty bladder??

for the real ET they want you to have a full bladder so i phoned the clinic yesterday and asked and they told me they want a full one for the trial one too. however, when i got there (nearly wetting myself) they said they want an empty one and did it with an empty one. :? :?

shantala: i had an empty bladder for trial ET. btw... i was stunned when had ET and it wasn't painful... asked RE why since i nearly passed out during trial from the pain... he said that he used a very stiff catheter for trial in order to measure, and uses a much more flexible one for real ET. (he had to jimmy it around a bit during trial and my uterus was protesting  ).

amd: congrats on your pos HPT! Excited for your confirmation!

Lori: congrats on the pregnancy!

Dear Ladies

I apoligise for 'crashing' this thread. I used to be on here but cycled right near the start of this group and then needed to take some time out to re-group before I go again.

I really just dropped in to see if there was news of Aunty Pebbles surpression scan as she was such a wonderful support to me and did such a great job on the thread board which always looked beautiful. I will keep checking for your news Aunty. Know that I am thinking of you & willing you on

Read a couple of pages and was so very very sad to read Haylie's news that I had to write something.

Haylie - What a shocking thing to do to you whilst you are going through this. I wish you all the luck in the world for your FET. You are a very brave strong lady to continue. Anything else that I could write would be inappropriately rude for a message board that anyone can read but cannot believe that he would do this to you. Huge hugs

AMD - huge congratulations. The hpts are from satan but they miss +ves, not tell you that it is +ve when not. You made it girl!

Good Luck to everyone else.
Love
