well after getting a date for induction for the 31st of january the twins couldnt wait so picked their own date!!!!
monday 22nd of january..... andrew was born at 7.05am weighing 5lbs 12oz and his sister, katie arrived 4 minutes later , 7.09am weighing 5lbs 3oz...... au natural!!!!
i actually went into hospital saturday night with bleeding but sunday morning at 4am my waters went... started having contractions which lasted all day but my cervix was badly scarred with tissue that if wasnt opening.... at 10.30pm they sent darren home so i could rest.... but 5 mins later i felt such a sharp pain and obviously the tissue had separated and my cervix began to open...... i was fully dilated by 6.50am so started to push ...20 mins later it was all over and i breast fed them both....
i had a shot of pethadine and gas and air..... we got home a few hours ago

Congratulations Kareen!!!! How wonderful that you have finally got the opportunity to meet Katie and Andrew....and you make it all sound so easy!! Hope you are having a fabulous time getting to know them and I look forward to seeing some piccies when you have time.

Congrats on the birth of Andrew and Katie. I love those names. As you know, I'm naming my boy Andrew too and my yellow labrador is named Katie. They were great weights! I can't wait to see their pictures on photobucket.
