First IVF cycle...feeling very emotional

Hi I'm Ixi and my husband and I are going through our first IVF cycle due to his low morphology (today is day 6 of stimulation injections) and I had no idea how emotional, anxious, and scared I would feel :(
It's an emotional roller coaster and I just keep praying that everything comes out ok and that we'll be pregnant. The injections are not so bad, they only burn a little and I went yesterday for my first ultrasound after starting the Follistim and they counted 16 follicles. They said everything was fine, my second ultrasound is tomorrow and I will hopefully have a better idea as to when the retrieval and tranplant will take place.
Any thoughts or advise from anyone who's already gone through this??? God knows how much we want to be pregnant but I'm so scared that it won't work...Thanks for reading this and allowing me to vent a little, God bless everyone going through the same ordeal and many positive thoughts for everyone! ixi: welcome to the board! And to the IVF rollercoaster. The women here are great, and you will find that they will have answers to most all your questions. Have you considered joining one of the cycling threads.. the Jan or Feb threads? I found it very helpful, as you will have others going through the same things at the same time as you. 16 follicles is fantastic! Good luck on your us tomorrow!

Hey Sassy!

My husband and I are also going through our first IVF cycle. We started at the beginning of January, and you're not kidding....it has been crazy! I have been scared, excited, worried, happy, anxious, and everthing all at once! We have actually already done our transfer and are now waiting for our pregnancy test this Friday, Feb. 2nd!

It has been the longest part of the whole thing...waiting!! I drive myself crazy thinking that I should just be in bed so that I don't do anything that will mess it up! I can't wait to find out one way or the other....but am definitely praying for the best!

We lost a baby last year due to an ectopic pregnancy. I lost my right tube in the process and had to have my left tube removed in October because it was diseased. Anyway, it has definitely been a journey!

My best wishes and hopes to you...and know you're not the only one going crazy! :)
