Hello ladies

Forgive me if i am in the wrong place but I get a good vibe from this thread.

I am a married lady of 6 years and on my second IVF and am due for E/T on the 2 of Feb ( my hormones are happy ones) and I loved to have other people to chat to.

I just like to wish you all the very best.

Ajdecker, I just read your post from the other day. I am so saddened by it but I applaud you and dh for being as strong as you both are. I am sure that was a very difficult decision but knowing that you are both there for each other makes a big difference in the world. Good luck with whatever you do and may you find the happiness that you have been searching for. My thoughts and prayers are with you!

Wisconsingal... I am excited for you too! I can't wait to be in your shoes and EYCI's post is such a wonderful thing for you. I love stories like that! Good luck with ET and hope your embies are growing strong!

Mominwaiting, I just wanted to share with you that my husband also has fibromyalgia. It has been difficult to time bd'ing especially during his flare-ups and so far he has been such a trooper with what we're about to do with the IVF thing. I know it's a difficult disease and hard for other people to understand but we are trying to live through with it and do IVF too. I am glad that you have done well with the Lupron. Good luck with stimming!

Steph, I'm glad with paying off just 1 cycle for now. I wish I could do shared risk but just don't have the cash for it. I guess we will just cross that bridge when we get there if we need to do more cycles. I'm glad you guys are doing that though. I know getting that BFP for the 1st IVF will be all worth it.

Everyone else....Hello! Will have to go to bed soon as I have to get up at 530 tomorrow morning.
Take care!

Hey ladies, Happy Wednesday!

Ang-
WELCOME!! And good luck on your upcoming ET. Feb 2 is right around the corner. You must be very excietd!! :D

Nerms-
I am right there with you...so ready for AF so I can get this process moving! Last night was my last day of Prometrium. The instructions say to take before bed which is what I've been doing but I was so anxious to get my last pill taken that I made the mistake of taking it around dinner. Now I know why they instruct you to wait until bed...20 minutes later I felt like I had drank 3 martinis and could barely keep my eyes open!! :P Oops! Anyway, AF is supposed to start 1-2 weeks after the last pill so let the countdown begin...

Wisconsingal-
Sending you positive vibes for a great update today!!! I hope you are feeling well and getting excited for the ET Friday!

Anna-
I totally hear you on the paying for one IVF...I think my RE thinks I'm a little loony for doing shared risk!!

Mominwaiting-
So happy to hear you have no side effects so far. Great news!!

Jen-
Glad to hear you had a fun weekend! And I definitely agree...we really are all brilliant!!!

I hope everybody else is doing great! Better get back to work...

EYCI - THAT'S GREAT NEWS......AND RIGHT NOW I'M THUMBS UP WITH ALL THE POSITIVE VIBES! I AM A PACKER/BADGER FAN TOO.....I WAS NEVER A FAN OF RANDY MOSS, I THOUGHT HE GAVE THE TEAM A BAD REP AND I'M GLAD TO SEE HE'S MOVED ON. IF YOU EVER COME TO GB FOR A GAME WE'LL HAVE TO HOOK UP, MY PARENTS HAVE SEASON TICKETS SO WE GET TO GO TO AT LEAST 3 GAMES A YEAR. I'M HOPING I'LL GET A BFP SO I CAN BE DESIGNATED DRIVER THIS YEAR FOR ALL MY FRIENDS THAT LOVE TO TAILGATE!

TAKE CARE EVERYONE!

Winconsingal - Any news on how your little ones are doing? Guess no news is good news. Hope that you are recovering well and on for ET this Friday. You'll be leading this thread off on the right foot!

Ang - of course you have come to the right place. Welcome! Not long to wait at all now until ET. Are you doing a Fresh or Frozen cycle if you don't mind me asking?

Steph - It is good that you are off the first set of drugs. I break it down into steps and see each one as another hurdle cleared. Then the whole thing seems more manageable for me!?

Anna - very tough on you having to face ivf and your dh's illness. You must be a brave lady with all this going on. We are here if you need us

EYCI - what a lovely story to cheer us all up. Thank you for coming to cheer us on!

Nerms - hope that AF is just around the corner. Doing a jig for you. Did you get my PM re-acu? Any good for you?

Jen - your w/e sounds great fun. Know what you mean about dh with other children. We were out a couple of weeks ago with freinds who have a 9 year old girl. She is wonderful and he is just so cool with her that it breaks my heart. Anyway, you are on your way on your own 'special Jen' protocol. Hoping that the 2 lines will show up soon - on both test kits!!!

Mominwaiting - glad that you are going along well and that you don't have any side effects as yet. Let's hope that continues. ER should be quite early in Feb for you so not too far away now

Hugs to everyone else. I have been shopping around for drugs today as find out that I do not have to buy from my clinic and might be able to get a better deal. Have called 5 places and got a range of £100 between cheapest and most expensive (£700 - over £800). Makes me mad that some places mark up the drugs to us as private patients. Like we are not paying enough. Wish that I had done this on go 1 & 2 now. Anyway, made me feel that I was doing something worthwhile. Just need to check against my clinic price and then can get my drugs all ordered.

My new business is picking up pace so might be on here a little less over next few weeks. I am thinking of you all. Just need to concentrate on my work before I start the drugs as know then I'll be all over the place and needing days off in 3 weeks time when I get under way.

Snow in London today. Very pretty looking out at our garden but blimin' freezing. Roll on spring and lots of BFPs.

Lots of Love
Carolyn xxxx

Hi Ladies -- Hope everyone is doing great! Welcome Ang......I'll say a prayer on Feb 2 for successful ET.

I'm so blessed these days. :D The dr said if I go 13 days (like I did last time) on the meds that we will have no issue with Saturday retrieval on me and surgical retrival on DH. Woopie. I'm doing a lot of praying. Started on my BCPs on Saturday and start the microlupron injections (only 2 as I understand it) on February 7th. I know it is around the corner but wow it seems like forever.

I have decided that however many ferts I get is what is going in. I really think my dr will be OK with it.

Here is to all of us and our success this time around. After all its February and LOVE is all around us!!!!

 Hi girls

Carolyn - Had a little well of tears in my eyes when you said about the lines on both sticks---oh how i wish we can all have that some days soon.

Well only got 3 pee sticks left and still no double blue line. Can't even get that on an ovulation kit never mind a pregnancy kit  Oh well the wait goes on. Started on my running again today and nearly had a heart attack. I only stopped over new year when i was ill and i feel so unhealthy again. Have made a deal with dh we are going to be thinner for my nephew's wedding, so am determined to stick to it this time.

Away to meet my old keychild then sort out my new one at work later as he was brought back by the police yesterday and charged with B of P
Oh i forgot to tell you---before i went to England there was a kick-off in the unit and one girl was punched in the face, the boy then tried to punch me and missed so spat in my face---yyyuucckkk. He has been charged with 2 x assault and this is the first time i will see him today, should be interesting---but i'm tough and will sort him out

Had to deal with my Mum yesterday, she kept saying "if this time doesn't work then will you adopt", over and over again. I eventually had to tell her to stop as its to painful to think about.
WE'RE TOUGH GIRLS, HANG IN THERE. PMA ALL THE WAY TO OUR BFP'S

Catch you soon

Love Jen x

Hi All! More good news for the day. AF came early!! :o I just stopped Prometrium Monday and wasn't expecting to see her for 10-14 days but lo and behold she showed up today! So...I start my BCP on Saturday and I'm on my way!

My tentative dates are ER on March 12th and ET on March 15th. Sounds so far away but I know it will be here soon. Good thing is DH and I already have a trip to FL planned for March 28th so I can go have a few relaxing days before the BETA test. WOW!!! Never thought I'd actually say that!!

Well, I'm off to a meeting but just had to share my update. Hope you are all doing well!

Hi girls....wisconsignal i am so so pleased for you..all the best for tmw..will be thinking of you and praying for you...i really really hope all works out for you! :D

Steph congrats to you too!..but you were supposed to be waiting for me!!

Last few days i have been feeling a little low..think it's pmt which is reassuring cos i can't wait for af to come round, also my dh's cousin announced her pregnancy yesterday-she is already 3months gone, she got married after us and it just feels like all of those younger than me are just passing me by, and even though every part of me says don't feel sorry for yourself...i just can't help it..anyway i'm upsetting myself just writing..think i'm really hormonal!!

Carolyn..thanks for your pm, the information was really helpful, i really wanted something near the clinic at guys hospital and so i don't know if harley street might be a bit far..what's the nearest tube?

All the best to the rest of you...

Hey Nerms,
I hope that AF gets here soon and we can be cycling right on track together!! And just know that I too have my low days...as I'm sure we all do... and that's completely fine. We deserve to throw ourselves a little pity party every once in a while!!

Do something nice for yourself tonight!!!

Have a good one!
