I had a FET on the 9th of Jan. Today is day 15 after FET and I didn't get my period. I took a HPT test yesterday afternoon and it was negative...so I figure that I am not pregnant. If I don't get my period tonight then I will get a blood test tomorrow that will be day 16.
Has anyone else not been pregnant but had a delayed period?

I just had that happen too. In fact, I'm waiting for my period now, on day 16. Were you taking supplementary progesterone? That can delay your period several days until AFTER you stop taking it. That could be a good reason. If not, it's possible also that your embryo implanted, but it's not viable enough to be a viable pregnancy or to show up as a pregnancy on the home kit. (Blood tests are much more sensitive). So... there could be a lot of reasons. Keep us posted on what you find out if you'd like!

Hi Kswan, Thanks for your message. I wasn't able to take a blood test yet because it's complicated. I am in Swiss they all speak French and I am not sure where to go, and I had to travel today. So, tomorrow is Day 17 and still no period. I have continued with the progesterone vaginal pills 3 x a day so maybe that's why AF hasn't arrived. I will force myself to get out and due it tomorrow! And what about you? Did you test yet with a blood test? This time I had an FET but last time with my first IVF, I got my AF right on day 14 after the transfer. Somewhere inside I hope that I am pregnant really but then I know better because those HPT's are so damn accurate!

Gosh, how frustrating that you can't find a place to go for the test. I can only imagine you are pretty ambivalent also about taking it! Agh, I hate those tests! Did you take the progesterone supplements in your first cycle? If so, seems like they didn't delay your period. Hmmm... Hey, you could be pregnant. Or, as I said, 'partially pregnant'. Don't mean to scare you, but that's what happened to us first time. Our blastocycst implanted but the HCG result was 15 (needs to be 50 or higher to be a positive). My body kept thinking I was pregnant, and I didn't get a period, and had I taken a pee test, it would have been negative, but technically I was pregnant.
This most recent transfer was of 3 embryos and we did a blood test and it was negative. Still waiting for period three days later after stopping the progesterone. ANyway, that's our story.
My fingers are crossed for you. Do you have any symptoms, of course it's hard to tell cos sometimes the progesterone feels like preg. symptoms.
Keep us posted either way!

The progesterone can delay the onset of your period. You need to get your blood test to confirm so you know whether to continue to take your progesterone or not. Good luck - maybe your pregnant and it's just to early to show on the hpt! Don't stop taking the progesterone until you confirm with a blood test!
