Morning all

Lucy I'm glad you have been having a wee think and feel a lot better about things. Just think, it is better you go on the WL now (just incase) as it can only be a good thing in terms of prompt treatment if you ever need to go down the donor route. That was one of the reasons dh and I went to the Nuffield in December. We were worried that if we waited til after we'd used up our current donor sperm supplies we'd have a hefty wait til we could have treatment again. At least this way, you are moving up the list and if you don't ever require a donor cos you WILL get that BFP next time, then you can simply come off the list again. It may seem a lot to take in now but in the long term it makes sense and I'm sure that''s why your doctor had done it.

I am sorry I have not done personals yesterday or today but my head is still all over the place. I can't relax til I get th phonecall this morning confirming everythingis OK. I have become neurotic this morning - always have to pee in the middle of the night as I drink so much water so I did another hpt at 4 am. Don't think I pee'd enough on it cos not even the test line showed up, so I went back to bed and dh and I had a sleepness night. Woke up this morning though and the test had worked - pg line stronger than control line so I hope this is good news. Then did another one at 9 30am this morning, different type and strong line so I am really hoping and praying my beta is ok today. Have worried about it all night. Dh off to work with the mega strong coffee

I'll let you know how it goes xx

Julie, sorry I should have posted last night to ya, but Lisa BFP took priority!!!
Thats great about the ET in 6/7 weeks, Have u worked out roughly when that'll be?
Are u feeling better now???

I am sure it'll fine honey, and like u say 4 straws left.. so thats good too, will dh have further sperm retevial if all 4 are used up??

Lisa, once again Congratulations, I really have lost faith in IUI but you have shown it does work!!!!
does this mean that the remaining 4 vials are yours now indefinatly!!!
bless ya, i am so pleased you have it, it'll be ME next!!!

Jen, how are you?? are u having a good week-end?? Has Russia emailed ya back?? Makes sence that u try there, and also makes sence u get the info now before the wedding...How r the plans coming on for that!!!

Lucy, i'll catch up with u on the march thread in a mo!!!!

Kate great that Af is here and FET is happening very soon, your'e the next BFP pheonix!!!!

Me: I am having ashit time at work, we are short staffed just lost 3 memebers of staff, and now we are so short so all trying to do extra work load snce these people left, at xmas and now the company has increased sales target by 70% for this year, never will we get them, just about got 100% last yr. so morale is down, and I am fed up and all i think about is getting preg, and then getting out of that company!!

Othwise, I guess I am ok, just want to get started with this IVF now all this waiting about is doing my head in......Next appointment isn't til 9feb......

"I sit and wait, does an angel contemplate my fate????"

Hi Girls,

Feeling abit teary and down so I thought I'd post and hopefully you can make me feel better!

Just been bridesmaid shopping for my best mate and I have just found out that one of the others is 10wks preggers. Another one is 26wks and I am just so envious of them! I've been feeling so positive the last few weeks and this has really hit me hard and I don't know why. Don't get me wrong I am really pleased for both of them (although the more pregnant one asked how I was and made all the usual noises and then prodeeded to say how awful it is to try and get pregnant and for it to to take a year!! Try waiting 5yrs and it still not happening!) but I just want to have that big belly and know I'm going to be a mum.

Sorry girls, had to get that off my chest!

Lisa - congrats once again. You and DH must be made up :D

Jen - how was your weekend? Any news on the Russia thing?

Nickie - sorry to hear about work. Why is they think we can always cover other people's workloads and still do a fantastic job and meet targets? Bet the bosses haven't taken on anymore work?!

Lucy - how's things? I think Julie is right, better to be safe than sorry and get on the list now. If you do have to go down that route (which you won't because this cycle is going to work! :D ) then you don't want to be stressing about how long the waiting list is etc

Julie - how's you?

Right off for a small glass of wine!! Catch you later

Kate sorry to here you had a bit of a hard time with your friend and her pg friends. just think when you get your BFP all of the heart ache will have been worth it. Hugs xxx

Julie - I am so glad it is not long til your ET and I'm so glad you are feeling better. Are you staving off the vodka til then or is it a little bit of what you fancyfor the next few weeks?!!

Nicki also sorry to hear work not so good - is there anyway you can get transfer to another office / speciality (if that's poss). You should treat yourself to a nice massage to destress and also help for your forthcoming tmt. Just think only 12 days til your appt!!

Jen I hope you had a fab weekend away. Make sure you tell us all about it soon honey  Any news on Kiev? You have def done your homework gal! PS thanks for the advice on Friday - if it wasn'r for your support I don't think I would have ha the courage to do the evil hpt!! xxx

Lucy how has your weekend been? Hope you have also been destressing and are being kind to yourself :o

Hi Gail + big bump! MLG and Daisy

As for me I am still in shock after yesterday's news. I really can't believe it. Dh said yesterday he is the "happiest man alive"! :D Lucy this is how I know using donor makes absolutely no difference. Feeling whacked already and very thirsty. Also still have AF type pains. Still quite scared as its early days -keep touching wood every time I talk about anything baby related !!

Off to watch BB final xx
