a little blood

hello ,can anybody help me, last night i had a small amount of red blood in my pants and ive been panicing, i havent had anymore as yet but im wondering if this is it.does this mean that its failed.do you think i should ring the clinic. thanyou.

it could be implantation bleeding, many women experience it. the good sign is that you;ve not had anymore since last night. what day are you? phil

Loopylou Not sure I can help you as this is my first cycle but just wanted to say stay positive - you've only got two more days until you test. Obviously if you are concerned then do phone the clinc who I am sure will be able to put your mind to rest. sending ++++++++++vibes Lisa x x

Loopy this is what is on the handout from my clinic. hope it will put your mind at rest: "It is COMMON for women to have some bleeding around or even before the pregnancy test. Symptoms range from a brownish discharge to heavy bleeding, generally accompanied by crampng pains. THESE SYMPTOMS DO NOT NECESSARILY MEAN THAT YOU ARE NOT PREGNANT." Also as Phil says, spotting is quite common on implantation. A lot of girls who are now +ve have had it. hope this puts your mind at rest LOL beckym xxxx

Hi Loopy Don't know if you have read my other postings but I am sure that AF arrived this morning. Excuse the graphic description but it is heavy dark red / brown streaky and has been on and off all day. Not quite like my normal AF but definitely not spotting. Guess it is all over for me. CALM DOWN GIRL !!!!! EVERYONE IS DIFFERENT BUT IF YOU ARE IN A STATE WHY DONT YOU DO A HPG TEST . WE ALWAYS DID THEM ON THE 10TH DAY THEY HAVE EITHER IMPLANTED NOW OR NOT. TRY NOT TO WORRY. WALES

Hey Lou, I agree with the others. Spotting is a good sign of implantation, so don't stress! Will your clinic let you test early? B

Hi Lou I thought i would put a reply, when i was on my 2week wait and wasnt due to test till the wed, i had a brownish discharge on the sat and i thought that was it for me, i was convinced i wasnt pregnant!! But im now 25weeks pregnant with twins and their is alot off girls pregnant that have had a period, so please try and stay POSITIVE i know its easier said than done but im sure this will be a good sign for you aswell. Please dont test before your due date either i never!!! Love Louise x x

A BIG THANKYOU to all of you for replying to me, im trying not to think the worsed,ive been kept busy all day till now ,the good thing is i havent had any more bleeding so fingers crossed.and lorraine i think you will be ok your just panicing like me ,if its notlike your usual af then thats good,cause it wont be that.lorraine are you testing early i might do a hpt in morn.ill be thinking of over the next 2 days.fingers crossed for us boyh.good luck.speak soon love lou.
