ICSI injections

Hi Girls,

Question for anyone doing ICSI...I guess you are suppost to take shots from day 2-10. Can anyone tell me is it only one shot per night? How bad do the shots hurt? I'm the biggest baby when it comes to shots and I'm trying to prepare myself to see if I can actually go through with this process. Thanks for the help.

Hi there. I didn't start my stims yet, but i was worried too. After talking to alot of people and taking an ivf class I feel alot better. The type and number of shots you take really depend on your clinic and your situation. I think there is more than one a day for most people daily. The worst part of it is the bruising, the needle it self should be easy.

I didn't start the stims yet, but for me they are subq which is the same as the Lupron I am on. They aren't bad. The thought of them are worse then the injection themself. Trust me I hate needles when it comes to me. I give shots for a living, so that doesn't bother me for other people. But yes we are also doing the ICSI. I don't understand how it couldn't work. But I know there is always something. Well good luck through your process. Best wishes
