Aunty, My test date is your birthday 8th of Feb but I might not do it then bcoz I am out that night at the theatre and am a little afraid I will be upset and not enjoy the production. But to be honest, I will bleed before the date if it hasn't worked anyway, at least that is what happened previously. So its 2 snuggling in hopefully. Good luck darling with the follie count tomorrow...grow follies grow..

I was in a lot of pain last week and at one stage could barely walk as my ovaries had swollen up so much after the EC. But thank god I am fine now and the bloating has gone. I had a good weekend, enjoyed a great dinner party at a friends and it was nice to talk about normal things like holidays, etc.

I woke up this morning with mild cramps on and off in the ovary/womb area. Hope thats a good sign. Ahh well who knows until the day. I have decided that this time I must not get stressed about it as I can't change the outcome anyway. Eventhough the embryoligist said they were the best grade embryos, I know for sure this guarantees nothing if my womb is hostile. We already have a plan if its a BFN. We will go on holiday in June and then do our very last and final attempt in July. We will have used up all of DH's frozen samples then and we are not going back for more.

Ems honey...I hope you are okay petal and getting loads of PMA...you will be fine you know.

Glad you are feeling better physically than last week, and you seem to be really positive which is great.

I however seem to have waves of PMA but the majority is NMA!!! I don't know what I can do to stop this negative thinking. I guess its a case of what will be will be, but I HATE that phrase - people have said it to me so many times over the past few years!!

I know it is hard honey. Even this morning when I had minor cramps and I don't have sore boobs anymore, I thought to myself..not a good sign..but then again.. We just don't know what to think, do we. Trying to make ourselves positive is impossible for fear of been let down but been negative can have terrible effects too.

I bet you anything honey that you will realise your dream and get to hold your sweet baby and all these yucky feelings that your have now will be a million miles from your mind

Thanks Lisa, I really hope this is it for both of us.

I seem ok during the day but I seem to go to bed crying, and wake up the same. Its when I lay there thinking, I suppose I just get scared.

I've got to snap out of it! I am going to arrange lots of things to do over the next week and a half to keep my mind occupied.

Have you ever POAS early and had a +ve result? I am so tempted to do it before the date. How early would it show up? (Slapped wrists for me!!!)

Rach - hope your eye is better. How did you get on at the hosp? I couldn't park, luckily my mum came with me so she stayed in the car while I went in.

As for me I have to phone ;ater for a date for the transfer but hopefully it should be this week. With regards to dh he has spent all weekend sorting the house out for the estate agents to come and all the little jobs I have been asking him to do for ages were done in a weekend! it's so awful cos he won't move out until the day the house is sold and he is in the spare room and we are just like passing strangers. I feel like I'm living someone elses life! Anyway I'll let you know the date of the transfer

emma: I am so sorry to hear you are struggling so much (did you see i responded to your thread on the "IVF" board? Just one story, but hope nonetheless). I know for me, having embryos that grow "not quite right" adds another element to the doubt and fear that may not (or for all i know, may ) exist otherwise. During my only other 2ww, i had wild swings of pma then nma during 2ww and it was torture, so i get where you are coming from. Don't worry, i won't tell you all that stuff ... "it will be what it will be", etc... it used to p!ss me off when people told me that too.... especially when i was all wound up during the 2ww. I do hope, like you said, that you are able to find things to distract you for the next 10 days, just to take the edge off. Was it on this thread that someone said they wished there was a window they could open in their belly to see if anything is happening? I feel the same way! I wish i could just see what (if anything!) that little bugger is doing inside me!

Please vent whenever you need to, the 2ww is incredibly stressful and i hope you use us!

Hi haylie my appt went well i was late the traffic was terrible this morning also just waiting for them to phone me to tell me if i can start the tablets my eye is much better i was told to continue with the eye drops i'm using .
Glad someone came with you hope she will be going with you for et aswell i cant believe your dh what a p***k (sorry) but he should be showing some concern for you now .
Must go will write more when i know whats happening .

Can you change mine to say 2 snuggling in not 4...could you imagine if that was true and they all took...ouch!!!!

Well..I've just had a look in my diary from my 1st IVF back in March 2005. I have written down in it that I have mild stabbing cramps in lower abdomen, above bikini line at the same timing as now..well I'm not trying to get my hopes up...promise... but I was BFP at the time..and the pains are in the exact same place..so fingers crossed might be good luck omen...

Ems, I have POAS early and I showed BFP on day 11p3dt which would be next Monday for you. I used a clearblue one.

Hi Ladies,
I hope everybody is doing fine, I didn't post before as my internet was not working for few days now. Wow too many things was going on. I didn't have time to read all the posts but I wish good luck to everyone.
As for me, I will have my trigger tonight for ER Wednesday. I hope everything will go fine. I'm a bit nervous, can't sleep well, I have dreams seeing myself doing the ER .

As for me, I had a chat with myself in the Ladies earlier and have decided to stop worrying myself sick. Ghost PM'd me today and gave me some great info, AND told me the best thing I can do is not worry as it will be better for me and for my embryo's chances. So that's what I am going to try to do. Gotta get that PMA back up!
