I don't know if I am a registered voter here, but if I may, I want to post my vote for Mia's step sister for this week's Punter Award.......WTF was she thinking when she told you that???????, amazing how insensitive (or stupid, sometimes it is kind of difficult to differentiate) people can be.....
Mia, the "dust in the car" thing, I am sooooo with you on that one, my DH decided to build a pool table by himself, and of course he couldn't cut the wood in the balcony, noooooooooo, he had to do it in the middle of the living room!!!!!!!!!!!!!, men are terrible sometimes.........but we love them, what can we do

Patie--I'm so sorry. That sucks. Hope you are spoiling yourself like crazy.

Vicky--Of course you can vote. In fact, we'll have your vote count twice since you actually considered the fact that you might not be welcome (you are welcome!!) and didn't just dive in head first like I usually do with no regard for anyone!

Sassy--It's okay---I liked getting complimented on my use of Americanisms. I don't often get compliments, so I take what I can get

Fee-- Sorry work was so annoying. I'll try your silent stare approach, but I don't know how good I'll be at it. As you might have been able to tell from my constant posts, silence is not something I'm great at.

Angie??? Where are you?????

Hello - I 'm here! Don't know what go in to me yesterday but I was busy at work and got distracted from my usual occupation of posting here!

In fact, just my luck, over the next few weeks it is likely to get quite busy, culminating in a big crescendo of work, stress, problems just about the time of EC and ET at the beginning of March. I am organising a big event with lots of overseas visitors and appear to have no admin support to help. mmm! A conversation with the boss may be needed but so far I have avoided telling anyone about the IVF and really want to keep it that way.

Usually I can - I am left to my own devices to get on with things and am pretty autonomous (as you will have seen from my regualar lurking here!)

I like the sound of the sister hood blue stillettos rant and anything else we want to throw into the mix thread - I'll be there don't you worry. The more fluid the better - it allows for so much creativity as we have seen from our previous ramblings.

Have a good day/night/evening girls.

Angie - "I'm officially down regging as of today" - already have the nasal spray induced head ache" - or is it just first thing in the morning (9.45am!) grogginess ? Everything will blamed on the drugs from now on anyway.

Vicky welcome to the Sisterhood Electoral Roll, good to have you on board.

Angie we must have had an unaccustomed bout of work ethic yesterday (perhaps inspired by the long weekend). I'm hearing you about work building to a crescendo at the wrong bloody time. Same here. What is this nasal spray thingy?? I've never had that before??

Well I'd better get on with some work, will check in on you gals later.

So, then, if i am reading this right, we will be moving the thread. I may do it as early as tomorrow. I have most of this thread copied over into pdf, and i am going to see if it is possible to post at least parts of it at the beginning of the new thread... maybe i can actually do the whole thing. We will give ivfswitzerland back her thread.

you aussies, all work and no play  . sorry to hear both of you will be otherwise preoccupied for the next little while (d*mn those jobs!). Angie, though, maybe a chat w/boss may be in order, like you said. Don't blame you for not wanting to tell, but do you thing s/he will be helpful? Just worried about your stress level around ET (not to mention stress while stimming  !). Ah well, you two... check in when you can, clearly i have no life and so you know i will be around. We will keep the torch burning. (or... we'll leave the light on for ya' ... oh, do they have Motel 6 commercials down under or is that just an american thing?????).

vicky: i have *she counts on fingers* 5 words for your dh "Step away from the chainsaw"!

Ohh crap, and I thought I was sooooooooo intelligent that just by typing something under "subject" the whole thread would be renamed and would save Sassy from the whole PDF thing............oh well, I tried.............

Meg:oooo, vicodin-induced coma for a few days... not bad!

Fee: i had a dream about you last night (oooo, sounds a bit creepy!). dh and i were out on the town and he handed me a public telephone and said "Fiona is on the phone for you". After chatting for quite some time... not sure about what (and me wondering in that dream-like way how we were paying for this call!), we started talking about how i could get your blue stilettos back to you for your FET that wk. i said "good-bye fiona", and you said "don't call me fiona... i am fee to you"! And that was it. Just weird how bits of our lives end up in our dreams!!!

Hope you all had a great wkend!

Hi Sassy - nope - not familiar with Motel 6 commercials - "Baby leave a light on for me" - now that sounds like a song from the 90's - would it be Belinda Carlisle? - I will start humming it anyway.....

I will just have to re-adjust my posting schedule and do it in the evenings at home like a good conscientious person!
Don't worry I won't be far away............

Fee - I down reg with nasal spray - do you have to do injections? Why am I using present tense here? I AM down regging with nasal spray (and I WON"T be making a habit of down regging) and DID you have to do injections ? (coz you won't be doing it again :D )

There you are, PMA girls - although possibly not allowed on the rant thread!

Looking forward to the next rant. I don't know if it will be me, I reckon this spray will just make me a bit dull and foggy. So it's down to the rest of you. Vicky - pls remind me where you are in your treatment?

Hey Ang, thanks for the PMA. I think I must be quite a negative person, I have visions of myself being on IVF for years.....Just picked up my new sharps container yesterday. It's cooler than my last one, it has a strap on it. I think it looks like a yellow boxy handbag. They asked me if I wanted a bag to take it in (for privacy/ modesty reasons I assume) and I told them no, I'll just wear it.

I think I down reg (I mean I have down regged in the past) with injections... or is it the BCP, not sure about that. Start off with BCP, then blood tests, then injections with Lucrin and the start off on the stims...

I'm feeling a bit too whacked to rant myself, very tired this week. My colleagues are however pissing me off by coming into my office every time I try to post so I have to quickly hide what I'm doing....boundaries people...BOUNDARIES!!

Sass good luck with opening up the new thread. Sounds very techical, not my scene at all so happy to leave it in your capable hands.

Hey to Vicky and Meg (where the hell are you....sleeping???).

I am impressed by your persistent (if slightly forced ) pma. Positive thinking is acceptable here (at least my vote... since we are now a democracy  ). I even find myself actually believing i just might get a bfp this wk (oooo, stop the presses!!!). As long as no one shoves it down my throat when i am pissed off, i am actually a pma fan (i know, hard to believe  ).

ooo, i have a good rant just waiting to bust out of me... but as this is a public thread, i will refrain... for now. just know my ranting vibes are beeping like crazy!!!!

yep, looks like the others are sleeping... lazy buggers! Am i the ONLY one around here that is comitted (or is that obsessed?) enough to post around here 24/7???? ahhh, but it is catching up w/me... tired already and it is only 8pm! must be up at 5:00 in order to get bw done prior to crossing town for work.

Will read you in the morning! oh, and btw, i was just trying to write an "intro" for the new thread (how, pray tell, do you describe what we have been doing???), a way to welcome people and give them an idea on what they are getting into.... so i was thinking that our motto would be "Laughter AND ranting are the best medicines". any idea, though, on how to concisely describe why we are the sisterhood of the blue stilettos??? Anyway, any suggestions on what to include in the intro would be greatly appreciated... o/w i will wing it.

oh, and ANOTHER btw (quite chatty tonight, i am) ... i am having quite a bit of cramping and don't remember having this last time... now i know better than to ask if this is good or bad (know it could be either).. just thought i would share. maybe, just maybe (fingers crossed)
