Hi Girls, I would love to join. I too am on the Jan and the Feb thread. Hee hee. They keep postponing my cycle. I will begin March 1st, come hell or high water. I'm an old hag, at 40. This will be my 5th cycle. I cycled in October with a BFN. Dr. has me on a strict diet trying to get 30 lbs off in hopes that it will lower my right ovary enough for them to access it. Last transfer it was hiding behind some blood vessels and I lost 15 eggs in that one ovary. EEK! But... I had 3 perfect 6 cell embies, and no pregnancy. Hopefully if I lose the weight they'll be able to get to that other ovary. It's very hard. I was supposed to cycle in Feb, but didn't lose enough. I still have about 20 to go by March 1st. UGH! I've lost 10. This was 10 on top of the 10 I lost in order to do the Oct cycle, so I've lost 20. I'm struggling. I'm afraid to wait too long, because of my age. I'm doing March no matter what.

Shantala, I don't even know, I guess we'll talk about the scan once I get the results for my second test. I think the nurse may have said something about 7th week but hey, I was so overwhelmed that my info intake was minimal I guess if all goes well the scan is around wk 7 (2-3 weeks from now) and after that I'd be sent to my regular OB (meanwhile will stay with my RE).

Shantala, congrats on down-regging too. You're on your way, girl!

I had to cancel my acu appt today as we had a big snowstorm and the roads were too slippery. I rescheduled for 2/7 . I took a 2 hr nap instead and feel much more relaxed. And hey it was free!

Welcome bigwhitehappydog! Good luck on losing the last 20 lbs! We'll be here for you to support you through this!

Hello girlies....

First and foremost RAE.................CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! OMG OMG OMG is all i can say..couldn't believe my eyes when i saw your post....that is amazing!!!! I'm really pleased and pray everything goes really well for you!

Shantala...only one more full day to go......excited??? understatement hey!!!

Well I'm really happy because wait for it.......AF arrived early!!!! I started late last night actually. I called up the clinic this morning, but they need my day 2 bw first before they give me a schedule, but everything should be on track for this month!!! Yesterday i went for an acu session nr home, no-one who had been recommended but local to home-chinese lady..she was quite amusing really, didn't give me much of a consultation took me straight into her treatment room. I asked her, will this hurt, she pressed my hand really hard and said this is what it feels like...did that hurt, i replied yes actually it did, she said that is not pain-we call it a sensation Anyway i sat there looking like frankinstein fell asleep for a little while, and left feeling very sinical about the while thing-but much to my surprise after a short while i actually felt really energised and full of beans, and then later my AF arrived..so i guess she really did open some sort of channel!!

Hope the rest of you are doing well.

Nicky..how is work going? still stressful?

Welcome bigwhitehappydog!!!, hope you can lose those extra 20lb and finally be able to start your next cycle, I too was trying to lose some weight that I put on last cycle, but I gave up already on the diet, lasted about 2-3 weeks (not a good girl as you may see, hehe)
