I told my DH about the "Devil wears Sweatpants" comments, and he just nodded his head - perhaps he knew better than to agree??? (at least, out loud??)

MOM20 - I am so sorry. I just lost my sweetheart pup 10 days ago after 16 years - I can't describe how much I miss her.... So, I just wanted to say I empathize. The hormones don't help with it all!

TC - I PM'd you on the CNA assistance a little while ago.

Aunty - what a rollcall!! Wow - to say that I'm impressed is putting it mildly - but, it's great to see where everyone is... Also, thanks for the great hope on the implantation - I'm keeping my fingers crossed. And - I'm trying not to get anxious about the fact that when I came off bedrest today, I jumped into work and was up and down stairs all afternoon (at altitude, mind you - my living room is at 8,000 feet!!) and allowed myself to get too stressed today with work deadlines while I was still technically supposed ot be out of the office on rest. (Since I am a solo practictioner -lawyer - it's tough to take the time off.) When I finally made it back to the couch this eve., I was pretty crampy - more so than at any time since the ET. So, it's back to the couch and the power of positive thought for me... So, the next question is: Where do you get all this great info?? Thanks for being such a terrific support and resource.

Erin - we are indeed on the same schedule (even as to watching "House!") - and, I think we have about the same embie stats too!!! Happy to have a nutty buddy these next ten days. Will you POAS beforehand? I'm sure I will, if only to prepare myself for the 9th. The big question is WHEN to POAS - how soon is too soon (or, more aptly put, when is it okay to give in??!!) :)

Hoping everyone has a great eve, and thanks Sassy - I love PC and living here in UT. I am a skier and for years was a competitive MTB racer at the national level, so it's the perfect place for us - my DH is also a racer... I retired from racing when we got on the baby train (2 m/c's right around biking - probably not a cause, but the timing of each was also too much of a coincidence). As a CT transplant to UT some time ago (for the skiing and biking), and as much as I miss New England, it would be hard to leave the West.

Cheers all - and GOOD LUCK to all the stimmers, ERs, ETs and such in the next few days,

-Lisa

Here is a link to the US census bureau, http://www.census.gov/population/www/popclockus.html

The current US population as of right now (Wed. January 31, 2:40 am) is 301,068,380

COMPONENT SETTINGS FOR JANUARY 2007
One birth every.................................. 8 seconds
One death every.................................. 11 seconds
One international migrant (net) every............ 27 seconds
Net gain of one person every..................... 15 seconds

For those of us in the US, it will be fun to see what population statistic your child is, (I have waaay too much time, I know). I will check this site again when I giving birth, LOL.

Well I have been lurking in the background reading all the posts. I’m a little daunted about where to start you guys do an awesome job keeping up with everyone

Charlie
All the best for tomorrow – wishing you lots of strong healthy eggs
Nouna
All the best for tomorrow – wishing you lots of strong healthy eggs
Empmtb
You survived 4 days rest – take it easy for the rest of your 2ww. Think of it as enforced downtime (I am sure you have earned it !!) Skiing – that is one thing I think I will miss this winter (your summer) if we get the BFP we are looking for!!!
Shantala
Congratulations!!!! It is so exciting to finally get a confirmed start date. We were on a waiting list to start in May this year – I was so excited in October when I got a phone call asking if we would like to start in January …. Just having a confirmed start date is a huge morale booster. I hope your DH is feeling better (perhaps he is wanting to sympathise with some of the discomfort you may feel in a few weeks).
Aunty
You do an amazing job keeping everyone up to date. Great to hear it is all going well and …… grow eggies, grow…….
Fed7281
9 days and counting – you must be getting excited – it is almost like waiting for Christmas !!!
Cookholmes
5 days and counting – not long now, snuggling in for 9 month snooze
Sassynlv
I Love reading you posts all over the message boards – I hope time is passing quickly
Saxony
Trigger tonight – way to go…… you are almost there, send your eggs off for the next part of their adventure
PMApsy
Every time I read your posts I think of the time I spent in Montreal – I loved the city and had a wonderful time there. Sounds like you are having fun and games with all your dosages – Rather than being treated like just another $$$$$ they are tailoring a special balance for your body each day to make sure all your eggs are perfect for your EC, ET and your BFP !!!!! Hang in there it’s just like cooking – sometimes the best recipes need a little fine tuning to make the outcome perfect.
Tcbalgord
All the best finding help with your MIL – in New Zealand there are public agencies that come and help with home and personal care for sick and elderly that are unable to look after themselves short or long term. I hope you are able to find a similar State provided service in the USA.
Ange
"The devil wears sweat pants"!!! Now that could be a great new clothing range…… perhaps they could be standard issue in the kits we get with all our needles and medication…….
Druiett
Congratulations on your BFP. Well done !!!

Every one else (sorry I’ve missed so many of you out) Stay strong, may your side effects be mild, may your eggs grow strong and may all your dreams come true. Smile, have a lovely day and give your DH a hug and tell them you love them –it’s tough on them at times too.

As for me, things are going really well, tomorrow is day 10 of my injections and no side effects yet other than a little bloating, strange dreams and waking up a few times in the night thinking it is morning so I consider myself to be really fortunate so far (I hope it is working !!!!) I have a blood test on the 5th and then I should get the ok to move onto growing those lovely eggs….. not long to go.

Well it is almost 11.30pm over here, I’m off to that strange and bizarre dreamland once again have a wonderful day every one

Silva- you are testing today right???
GOOD LUCK bring on the BFP train!!!!!!

Mom- I am so sorry about your dog, it was the hardest thing to put down our little guy last August. he fought a great battle and I think too he was at peace in that final moment, we buried him in our back yard, so I always can think of him when i look outside... Hugs to you!
I am doing really good so far. the belly is growing which is so funny to see. your time is a coming :)

Erin- OMG you are a nut! hang in there chickie every day cvloser to your BFP.
I never spotted any of the times, and had twinges this last time which I am assuming was the implanting process... OK did you crack up at American Idol or what!!!! funny show!

SS- NO SNOW here! figures I finally get snow shoes for christmas and I can't even use them!!!! Gotta love mother Nature!

Lisa- hey I am a fellow cyclist too and had to retire for this year :(
all for good reasons though! It is weird to think that I won't be riding once the spring comes and train for the 200 mile charity ride in August that me and DH do. But I will be there with my big belly screaming "go daddy!"

Shantala- woohoo so close!!!! pin cushion time!!!!

Sophie- how is it going!!! HUGS!

I actually read something I wanted to share with everyone. I don't have the exact letter but it said that for women going thru IVF many times morning sickness is way less severe because your body already has had so many hormones going thru your system that it isn't as much a shock causing the morning sickness... Not everyone but for most..... hey if that is our light at the end of this sucky IVF train GAME ON!!!!!!!

HUGS to all. may all your dreams come true!
love bec

Hey all

Well, i don't think i'm going to make it to my test 2moro :(

I've started spotting today which is how af starts for me so she is definately on her way!

We feel like the unluckiest people in the world at the moment and don't really know where to go from here. this is our 2nd go and both times, everything has gone really well and both times, we have had 2 perfect embies put back....could there be a reason why they r not implanting or is it just bad luck??

I'm sorry to be so down its just we were really hopeful this time.

Lots of love to every1
