Hi all,
Hopeful, sorry your sore from the PIO shots, the reason you are on a lot is we produce progesterone in the fluid in the follicles so there is some prescence in a fresh cycle, however in a frozen cycle we have none in our sstem so are given maximum dosage to give our embies everything they ned, Hope this helps.

Cinny, wow i hope you are okay, you respond too well, my clinic don't test e2, but i had over 20 follies on one side and over 15 on the other and had very little discomfort and no OHSS, i hope you are as lucky as me and continue on your cycle.
Sophie, well done they've grown fantastically, good luck for tomorrow.
Aunty, way to go your doing really well, it sounds like you'll get more than 3 by the time you trigger, any idea when your ER will be?
I know i've missed lads of people i apologise my thoughts and prayers are with you all.
AmC, how could anyone be offended by the pictue of your daughter, she is proof to us all that IVF works and she is such a cutie. It gives me hope that i too can have a child.

Well I am still waiting for phone call to tell me if any have fertilised and am going mad! If I get to the 2ww it will be unbearable!!!! Do you think I can ring them????

thats it for personals. as for me, i'm so bloody excited about starting downregging tomorrow!!! i've booked my first accu appointment for wednesday, which is exciting! hubby is getting better (thanks sophie!) - he went to the doctors yesterday and found out that on top of his kidney stones he has a kidney infection, a urine infection and sinusitis (spelling)...but he's much better now that he has given him antibiotics so thats all good.

Shantala: You've got eyes like a hawk lol. And yes ur correct - my appointment in next Wednesday and im pretty worried about it actually

Im afraid that they are going to tell me only grade 1's get the big freeze. I have been emailing a lady who went to the same clinic (she's 12 weeks pregnant now) and she said that their policy was to freeze just grade 1's. But - we will still go and ask, it costs nothing to ask does it?

welshbugger- yes, i can see why you are anxious. actually, i asked my consultant on tuesday about their freezing policy and she said that they freeze grades 1, 2 and 3...BUT she did say that its very important to realise that each and every clinic grades their embryos differently. so what might be a grade 2 for one clinic may be a grade 1 for another. so do ask about that!!! you never know your old clinic might have graded your embryos worse than your new clinic. does that make sense??

Aunty, I am the one you are pissed at. And Welshgirl, I am the one that apparently has no “right” to her feelings. And Christine... i am the one apparently in need of a "swift kick".

I am convinced amc posted the picture meaning no harm. And as far as I am aware, there are no hard feelings between us (at least I hope that to be the case). I did not say that I was offended by the picture, nor did I request that the pictures be removed, only asked that in the future such pictures not be posted without warning. As far as I am aware, I am the only one that was concerned.

I don’t expect anyone to agree with me publicly, that just doesn’t seem to be how this thread works. But am I REALLY the only one that finds it difficult to see children when I am cycling? Am I REALLY the only one that was sensitive about being surprised by seeing a picture of a child on the cycling thread? If so, then I owe you all an apology. And clearly… I am in the wrong place. I also think that everyone should feel comfortable on this thread with wherever they are in their journey… doesn’t that also include those of us (assuming I am not the only one) that see this as their infertility safe haven? I guess I am just in a different place than most (if not all) of you, and I can respect that. It was not my intention to make anyone else uncomfortable, or to “buck the system” that others may be comfortable with on this thread… was just feeling protective of others who might also feel this way. After some thought… I need to find a cycling thread that fits a little better with where I am right now. Like I said, hope there are no hard feelings. Please know I am rooting for all of you. Will still be around the forum, and will check back in on you guys at some point… wishing you all lots of bfps!

Sassy- i am sorry that you battle so hard with the infertility and with seeing other peoples children. honestly it saddens me, one thing that I have always believed is how could I ever be saddened by someone else wanting the same thing I did. I truly hope you find your peace. and best wishes.
