I know what you mean. I would want all three as well especially for a frozen cycle. That is so great for you. I am so happy about that. At all costs I would have had all three put back in. Please let us know how it works out for you. I am thrilled that they all made it. This gives you good chances.

I am going in to talk to him about another fresh cycle and I have already decided that I want three put back this time. I dont really care what he thinks about it. It costs way to much not to do everything we can to get our babies ya know???

Keep in touch

After all we are paying for the service he is not paying us. I am going crazy witht his bed rest thing....Going to get up and around more today.
I am curious hpw long after they are put back in the implant..Any idea? I would think pretty qucikly.
When do you get to go speak to him about the fresh cycle? I go tomorrow for blood work then Feb 5th for the preg test.
I am hoping that one makes it....Not so sure about the whole FET vers Fresh......My thoguhts are that if they make it thru the thaw they should be pretty good unless our body rejects them. In that case they need to find out why our body is rejecting them....Who knows

Keep the faith!

Good News

Post by monica »

I had good news over the weekend. Of my 7 embryos, they transfer 2 blastocyst in good shape (day 5) and 5 frozen. I'm very hopeful. This is my second IVF cycle (BFN in the first) and this time so far results are much better. I dont want to get too excited, probabilities are very low. My DH has been very supportive and encouraging. Hope this works!!!
I'm very nervus. It is going to be a long 10 days wait.

Best of luck to all of you.......

Monica.

Pd. Any recommendations for this stage?

I just sent you a PM...I did not get an email when you posted and I usually check once a week. Crazy thing. Anyhow I will be going in on the 27th to talk about another fresh cycle....uugghh. I was so hoping that I wouldnt have to do that. Oh well. at least I have the opportunity to do it right? I hope. We will see what he has to say. I am not sure what he thinks about what to do next. I will have to keep you posted though.
Please let me know how you are. I was thinking about you today and hoping that you are doing well. And pg!!!

On Feb 6 I'll have the blood exam. I think I will waiting until then, not sure though... My DH wants me to do the POAS now? Would the results be accurate with all the hormones in my body?

I'm trying to keep a PMA. Will see,

Monica.

A friend of mine had twins w/ her 1st FET!! Her fresh was a BFN, then she moved out of state (we're in TX) and had to have her 3 frozen embryos shipped to a new clinic in her new state so she really thought the FET would NOT work and that something would've been wrong in the shipping, etc...but she got twins, had them a few months ago!

Janine & Monica - hope you're wait isn't much longer!

Tanya - and for me, my 1st FET worked but was a chem. pg and then the 2nd FET was a BFN....my RE says how a lot of women do better w/ FET's b/c they are much easier on your body and it's not all in chaos w/ the extra hormones. They have a lady there that's done 5 fresh cycles, all BFN's and then 3 FET's and pg on everyone of them (not sure if all were 'good' or not). BUT, I just found out for me (sorry if TMI....), there was a 'blob' on a saline u/s I had done at Xmas (my chem. was in May). So they did a hysterocsopy and said he removed 'remnants from a miscarriage'.......so if that was still there (and it had to be b/c May was my only BFP..) when they did the 2nd FET, that could've been why it didn't work. I go Monday to talk about the hysteroscopy. And then we're deciding on another fresh or not too.

Good luck everyone!

Thank you so much for sharing your story. It is so hard to go through all that we do to get our babies!! Whacky! I am sorry that you have been through so much. It is about time for our turn right? I hope that you have a good appointment with your RE about what to do next. Stay in touch! I love the support from this web page. It has helped out so much since no one knows what I go through with this and the m/c's and stuff. It is hard unless you have been there. We are here to support each other. Looking forward to hearing good news for all of us....

Janine...not much longer. I think that it is a good time to test. It seems that people start finding out about 7-10 pays post op. Good Luck and let us know as we are dying to know!!! I know that the wait is so horrible. It really stinks. At least you know that you have support here either way!

Monica
How are you doing? Keep in touch girlie!!!

Good morning all...

Got up at 4:30 this AM and had to test. It was a negative. I know its early but my heart says this did not work.
I will test again tomorrow even though husband says to wait for blood test.
How much more can all of us take.

Have a great day

I am so sorry to hear that! I was so hoping for a BFP for you. That really stinks. I so hope that it was wrong. Man that is terrible. This is so hard to go through anyways and then a BFN....You never know...see what the blood says. Keep your chin up girl!

Hi all,

I'm not doing that well. I went for the test yesterday and it was positive, but doctor said levels of the hCG were very low. I have to go for a second test tomorrow. Doctor did not sound very hopeful. This is so depressing.....

Has anyone had a similar situation.....

Thanks,

Monica
