progesterone deficiency

Post by phil »

Hi, can anyone help? does anyone know if there is anything that naturally improves progesterone production. i know that the drug cyclogest can be taken, which i've been given, but is there anything i can do to increase or maintain my own natural supply?

i've checked the internet and so far have only come up with drugs. reason being is that over the last couple of months my progesterone level has been monitored. my appointment this morning showed me that today (day 8 post ovulation) my ovaries shows "little activity of progesterone", which is needed to maintain a pregnancy.

i have asked the doctors why and they say it's not unnatural for a women of my age, which doesn't help a great deal.
if anyone knows anything about remedies etc, even anecdotel, i would be really grateful if you would let me know.

many thanks
phil
