Hello Ladies:

Justine: I'm glad to hear that Nicholas is doing great. I'm sorry to hear about your depression. I hear that depression is fairly common after pregnancy. My good friend went through the postpartum depression after the birth of her daughter. How long did the depression last with Sophie? Hopefully the anti-depressants will kick in.

I went to the Dr. today, as I had a bleeding hemorrhoid, sorry if that is TMI. My OB has referred me to a surgeon tomorrow morning to have it taken care of. I have not started dilating yet. My fundus height measurement went from 36 cm last week to 39 cm this week!! My OB said that Andrew had gone through a growth spurt. If he keeps it up, he will be over 9 lbs! I have been particularly tired this week, as I need at least one nap a day. Today I took 2 naps.

Heather: How are you doing?

Jo: How is little Ellie doing?

Kareen: I hope that you are settling into a nice routine with Andrew and Katie.

Zoe: I hope everything is going well with little Ollie.

Vita: How are you doing? Do you have any photos of your triplets yet?

Take care all,
Tammy

Hi all...hope everyone is well.

Justine, so sorry to read about your PND...it must be absolutely awful. I am pleased that you are being treated though as I am sure recognising that you have this condition is half the battle. I really hope you begin to feel much better soon. I hope little Nicholas is ok and has stopped vomitting and that it is just because he is full and nothing more sinister. Sounds like you are going great with the weight loss, keep up the good work you are amazing.

Kareen, hope your D&C was really straightforward and you are now recovering. Katie and Andrew are adorable...keep them pictures coming!

Tammy, I hope your procedure went really well too! Pregnancy and child birth are depicted as beautiful experiences on telly...not so much I think! Anyway I hope you are recovering well and that pesky hemorrhoid won't give you any more trouble. Andrew sounds like he is going to be a big boy. Are you and DH tall? Not long to go now and you will get to meet him and see just how big he really is....I don't trust Doctor's estimates because I haven't yet met anyone who's babies came close to the estimated size.

Jo, hope little Ellie is thriving!

Well, I went to the ob today and I may get to meet my little boy before the week is out. I am going in to hospital tomorrow night to begin an induction with the doc expecting the baby to arrive some time on Thursday! I have gone into panic mode and I am absolutely terrified. I will make sure I get a good nights sleep tonight and plan to go out to lunch tomorrow and do relaxing things. Wish me luck!

Hello to Vita, Zoe and Hayley...hope you and your families are doing great.

Cheers
Heather

Hi gals,
Excuse me barging in on your thread. I have been watching out for Heather's news and just saw that it may be all rather imminent. Just wanted to wish you all the very best. I can't wait to read your news.

Hello Ladies:

Heather: That is wonderful news. I am very apprehensive about the birth of my son also. I guess for me it is the unknown, since this is my first pregnancy. Try to relax today and tomorrow. DH and I are not tall, as I'm 5' 5.5" and DH is around 5' 9". I'm anxious to see what my fundus height measurement is this Thursday. It was 39cm last week, so I hope that he has tapered off regarding his growth spurt.

Justine: I am going for a vaginal birth with an epidural. I don't think we have the option of water births here in the states. It sounds neat. I think my little guy has always had his head down, but I don't think that I'm engaged yet. I will find out on Thursday. I'm sorry to hear about your PND. You have done wonderfully in the weight loss area!!! You have already lost 31 lbs!! I have gained around 35 lbs so far. I sure hope that will be my last weight gain number. I feel like a beached whale. My ankles are fat and even my feet and toes are chubby. I hope Nicholas is not plyoric, but if he is, you know it can be treated by an operation. I'm paranoid about every possible abnormality that might affect my little guy.

Kareen: I hope you are doing better and are recovering from your D& C.

Jo: I hope little Ellie is continueing to gain weight and can go home soon.

Vita: How are you and the triplets doing? You are probably swamped right now.

Hello to anyone else that I have missed.

Take care all,
Tammy

Hello Gals

Just to let you know that Griffin Martin Lloyd made a speedy entrance into the world at 11.48pm on 6 Feb. Apparently he couldn't wait for the induction.....my waters broke at 7.30pm with contractions every 2 minutes after that. I still hadn't packed my bag as I only live about 100 yards from the hospital and thought I would have plenty of time to pack and walk to hospital. As it turned out we ended up driving because I couldn't walk even that far!

Griffin was posteria which meant labour wasn't too pleasant but I was grateful that the OBs earlier measurements were not an indication of his size....he is actually quite little weighing in at 2380g or 7lb 3oz. I am overwhelmed with emotion for this little fellow and I cannot believe how perfect he is. I will post some piccies later on photobucket but right now I need to go and stare at him for a bit.

Hope everyone else is well....it is all down to you now Tammy!! Oh, good choice with the epidural by the way.

Have a great weekend!

Cheers
Heather

Hello Ladies:

Heather: Congrats on the birth of your son!!!!!! I'm convinced that the epidural is the way to go. I have not been feeling very well today. DH and I went to the mall to do some last minute shopping. I could not last and had him to bring me home. I have a lot of pressure on my bladder right now and my braxton hicks contractions seem to be getting stronger. Last night I had several strong braxton hicks.

Take care all,
Tammy

Heather congratulations, enjoy every minute, they grow up too quickly.

Wow Tammy all eyes on you now! I do check every day to see how you're doing but unfortunately I don't get chance to post all the time. Sounds like things are really getting close now. I can't wait to hear all about Andrew making his way into the world. Take everything that's offered to you!

Maybe we should have a thread on the other board once Andrew is here. We'll wait for you Tammy!

Justine how are you doing? Sorry to hear about your PND but it's good that you went for help in it's early stages. I'm down at the moment. My doctor offered me some anti-depressants but I want to wait until Ellie's home. I think I'm just down because of the situation rather than PND. Travelling to the hospital and trying to cope at home too is tiring. I stopped expressing on Wednesday and that's made a big difference for me. I've still got 80 bottles in the freezer so she has enough to keep her going!

She's doing really well. Sorry if I keep repeating myself everywhere but I'm so happy this weekend. Friday she came off CPAP completely, yesterday she went into a cot and today she had three feeds via the bottle - oh and she weighs a massive 3lb 8oz!

Hayley how are those precious girls of yours doing?

Vita how are you? I think about you often. Can't wait to see pictures of your little cherubs. I hope everything is ok.

Kareen how are your gorgeous babies? Hope all is well in your household too.

Zoe long time no hear, hope all is well up there. I'm sure your handsome boys are doing well and are best of friends.

Love to you all

Jo

Hello Ladies:

Jo: Ellie is getting big. She will be home with you before you know it. I think we should start a thread on the other board.

I just got back from the OB and i've started dilating. I am 1 cm dilated, 80% effaced and Andrew is in the -2 station regarding engagement. My doctor thinks I will go early. I also had an ultrasound. They are predicting his weight to be 7 lb 5 ounces today. I'm hoping that he will come within the next week. I've been having a lot of braxton hicks contractions and they seem to be helping!! My doctor seemed very pleased with my progress. I'm excited!!

Hello to Vita, Hayley, Heather, Zoe, Kareen, and anyone else that I may have missed.

Take care all,
Tammy

Kareen: Wow, it sounds like you have a wonderful schedule down. I can't believe that the twins do not wake you during the night. When did they start sleeping through the nights?

Justine: The pictures of Sophie and Nicholas are great. How are you doing?

Hi Justine it's great to hear from you. I'm glad you are feeling better, hopefully on the road to normality - whatever that is! Nicholas is doing so well. Does he sleep in fertiliser?! Once Ellie is home we should meet up for a coffee, I've got to come over to Walden to show her off to the girls at work!

It's great you've decided where to move to. You've got the exciting stuff now of getting those house details through the door - I love that bit. Looking is great it's the waiting for everything to go through which is horrible!

Hi Kareen you're babies are a good weight too. How fantastic that they are sleeping through already. I think when Ellie's home we are going to have to wake her if she's sleeping as she needs to pile on the pounds!

Tammy I'm so excited for you. I can't wait to read the news that Andrew is here. In my experience they've always been out with the scan weights. Emma the day before they told me 7lbs and she was 9.1 and with Ellie they said 500g on the day she was born and she was 890g. So don't be surprised if he is a little bigger!

I'm not surprised that your doctor was pleased with you. You have done magnificent. Good luck for the labour if I don't speak to you before.

I've put an update on Ellie on the other thread so I won't bore you all with it again!

Hello to everyone else - hope you are all enjoying your little bundle/s.

Take care

Jo
