adopting from Russia or Poland

Post by IVFSwitzerland »

Hi there, Im about to have my last IVF and am trying stay positive but with a poor ovarian response we have 2 options, egg donation or adoption. Most of me feels adoption is the better route as you know that in the end you will have a positive result even if it takes a long time. We are keen to adopt from Russia or Poland - does anyone have any advice on insight into what its like adopting from these countries please? thanks

What I know about adoption from Poland is that it helps if you are catholic, were never divorced, and ofcourse married.

A problem with children from Poland is this alcoholsyndrom, mothers who drank during pregnancy.

I am sure that if you google a bit, you will find lots of information!
after lots of IUI, 4 FETs and 5 IVF's
a babyboy!
