In honor of Sassy, Patie and others that have received the dreadful BFN, I thought I would create a thread to make us laugh and take our mind of IVF (good and bad). But something that WE can all still relate to. This is a piggy back of Sassy’s “You know you’ve been at this too long if:”


This is called “You know you are addicted to this site when:”
- You get to work early not to finish up work or get a jump start on work…but to get on this site before you start work and before your coworkers come in and start bugging you.
- You get mad when you are at work and actually have work to do because it keeps you from being on the site.
- You Tivo/DVR or Tape your favorite shows to watch later so you can FOCUS on the forums.
- You never watch those recorded shows because you can’t tear yourself away from the computer.
- Haven’t been to another website in month/weeks.
- Have made this site your start up page whenever the internet is opened.

YOUR TURN!!

P.S. Sorry if this has been done already. But I need some humor in my life right now.

* you have to rewien the same scenes from the same shows that you tivo'd OVER and OVER because you get too engrossed in the forum (happens to me on a daily basis.. driving dh crazy )

* you avoid going out at certain times so you can be on the forum when your friends are!

.......you are at it at work all day, to go back home and get back at it again.......

.......after you read all the posts you go back to some thread and re-read the posts from the last couple of pages just to have time go by until somebody writes something new......

.......your DH knows that when he gets back from work he will always find you in the computer room.....

.......your dog knows where to find you too......... , even when you are not at the computer, you see your dog going to that room since he is conditioned already to finding you there.....

hahahahaha!!! Good One vicky!! My puppy does the same thing. I think he's confused when he doesn't see me in the computer room.

Okay more and more of these are starting to sound like me. This is scary.

I just thought of a couple more (which I may be guilty of )

You know you are addicted to this site when:

-you stop going out for lunch and spend your lunch at your desk eating and viewing this site.

-take a break from a work related project to check this site...KNOWING you have a deadline.

-Almost burn dinner because you are too busy reading and posting. (did this the other night).

When you reply to work e mails with a ticker at the bottom and a note wishing them all the luck in the world.

You stay late at work to FOCUS on the site and catch up on the last few days posts;

You tell your assistant to hold your calls because you are "in conference" on the site;

You keep hitting the "reload" button to see of there's anything new...

www.ivf-infertility.com is constantly at the top of the list of your most recently visited sites. You are terrified that when the IT guy comes in to do something on your computer he will click on it.

(I really must work out how to delete my history - anyone know how to do that?!)

Angie65- I just wanted to tell you how to delete your history from your work PC. I do it all the time.

Click tools on the top of the task bar
Click on internet options
The click delete history; temporary files and history

Once you do this they will never catch you!!! LOL

Today, I woke up 10 minutes late. I made excuse that i had to wait long for treadmill at my gym, so came to internet rental at 6 am to check all wonderful ladies here.

Good one Patie, you just made me think of another one. I was telling DH a story last night and I said; "the girls and I were talking about:" Half way thru the story he asks which girls are you referring to? The girls on the IVF site? All I could do was laugh!

So you know you are addicted to this site when:

- your DH has to ask you which friends you are referring to when you start talking about your friends? lol
