MIA - Congrats...I remember how good that news felt and seeing that first ultrasound to confirm is such a good feeling.
Emily- I wish you the best on your Transfer and wait period. Sending lots of baby dust your way.

Thanks for the information on the leg cramps I've only had that one so far...but trying to drink lots of liquids. I was also wondering with twins when most people start to feel their babies so that was good info as well. I keep hoping for that feeling but i'm only just shy of 14 wks at this time so guess i have a couple weeks to go.

I'm so glad i found this thread it's so nice to hear everyones stories and we are all due closely together as well..............

It's halftime so guess i need to go and see who is going to win the superbowl and then get some rest for work tomorrow YUCK!

Mia --- is your due date October 15th? I did the Pregnancy calculator on this website and if you had a blast. transfer on Jan. 27, it shows October 15th... What a nice date! Congrats again! I am sooooo happy for you!

Emily --- you are in my prayers!!! Good luck with your transfer today!!!

you're close, I actually had ET on the 26th. EDD is on Oct 14th. I think the date and time on this web site is for england. throws me off all the time. I'm so excited about having a little pumpkin baby. Halloween is my 2nd favorite holiday!

ooooo.. think halloween birthday parties, yeah!

Thanks everyone for your responses to my BFP. I'm so touched and blessed to have you guys while i go though all this. It won't be long now before we are looking at each others baby pics.

Mia - Well, it's now officially 'official' - so woo hoo and congratulations! I'm so happy for you and can't wait to find out how many you have snuggled in there! October sounds like a wonderful month for a baby to be born! I'm just so happy for you guys - this is just wonderful. You still have some good frosties, right, for a sister or brother?

Myhb - I'm praying for you tomorrow too! I can't wait to see your BFP as well.

Emily - keep us posted on how things went today....I'm really pulling for your little embies to be strong - it only takes one, so I hope that first one did well over the weekend and is ready to come home to you!

I broke down today and bought one of those home-use doppler machines. Call me crazy (I know I am) but because of the other m/c, I just can't shake the feeling that something might be wrong. I know it's completely without reason (since we saw our little one on ultrasound strong as ever 10 days ago) but since we've started telling everyone this week, I just have this need to keep hearing his/her little heart beat. It should come in a couple of days....hope it gives me a little bit of peace of mind. When do you actually start to feel the baby moving? Lola - have you felt anything yet? I can't wait for that.

Hi All -

Well, I was all ready to go this morning for the transfer and got a call from the dr that our eggs didn't make it. He says he can't explain it and he only has to make this phone call about once a year. I said, go figure, it'd be me! So, now they are going to sit around the round table and try to figure out what they can do differently next time. Now, the waiting game begins again! Plus, now we have met our maximum for our insurance. So, we have a lot of thinking to do!

Thank you all so much for your words and prayers! It really does keep you going!

I am so sorry, that completely sucks!!!!! I will be interested in what they come up with. I have been reading on these threads that when the doctors get together and brainstorm, they usually offer something very affordable and reasonable. i will hope and pray for you.

Emily - I'm so very sorry! I agree with Sam, having them sit down and compare notes may lead to some good ideas. If you're unsure, get a second opinion. The doctors at SIRM will give free telephonic consults as well (see sirm.com) and may be able to help shed some light on your situation. I actually didn't go to them, but I did use their web page quite a bit in this last cycle for information. Perhaps they will give you a discount - my RE gave me 25% off for my 3rd cycle - so you never know. You can always ask.

Keep us posted on what they say at your debrief meeting. Again, so sorry you had this disappointment and I just pray that you can try again soon.

I am so sorry you have to go through all this. Hopefully your clinic can make it up to you somehow and find a good solution. Just don't give up, there is definitelly a baby at the end! I just hate the waiting, I know. And now you will probably have to pay much more out of your pocket. It is so unfair sometimes... But we will always be here for you, not matter what, we are not leaving this thread until we all get pregnant including you!

we have 4 frosties. enough for 2 FETs.

where did you get the doppler thingy, they must be expensive. I don't balme you for wanting to hear the heartbeat everyday. I would too.

today i went in for my 2nd beta and the lady there called me 'very pregnant', hehe. and then she told me that now that i am pg none of my BTs and monitoring is covered by the global ivf fee I paid.

anyway my health ins. is suposed to cover anything pg related, so I should be ok.

Emily - I am so sorry! Please don't give up hope. After my miscarriage, my doctor also had a round table with the other doctors regarding my cycle and that is when they came up with a new protocol. Hopefully they'll come up with alternatives regarding the cost as well. Hang in there. You are in my thoughts.

Hi Ladies - I am pleased to say that I got a BFP. I am still in shock because I had tiny seedlings of doubt because this 2ww felt very different from the last time. I am so glad that I found this thread because everyone always makes me feel better and I know your good wishes definitely did the trick. Thank you all!!!

Myhb...woo hoo! I'm so excited for you! So, you have to give us the scoop - what was the beta, when's your first scan, etc etc??? I'm just thrilled for you - way to go.

Mia - I got the doppler on amazon, it's $115 - seemed cheap to me for some peace of mind, but DH insists that we will sell it on ebay when we're done (hee hee.....) BTW, my blood tests were covered by my insurance, but I had to pay 50% of the cost for the ultrasounds, because they still called that 'infertility treatment' and my ins only pays 50%....so, we had to pay $75/scan - 4 total - so another $300.....gotta love the 'incidentals' they don't tell you about.....Oh well, it's all worth it in the end - did you get your beta # yet?
