??? on FET cycle???

I am set to do a FET cycle in March of this year. I noticed that a lot of you are doing BCP and Lupron for your FET cycles. I am not doing either of these. I am just doing Estrogen patches. Should I get a second opinion or is this normal?

Hi Lisa, I guess different doctors have different protocols. In my case, I am doing FET in March too (or at least that is what I hope.. ) and they start me on BCP's the month before. So basically now when AF comes I start BCP's, on the third week of BCP's I will start Lupron too, and when AF comes again after the BCP's they start me on estrogen patches just like you and prepare me for the FET on that cycle...........hope it helps...

My doctor had me on the same protocol as Vicky. I would just ask what their reasoning was and make sure you agree with their research.

Thanks ladies your responses mean a lot. I was going to call a couple of other clinics and see what their protocol was. My old Dr. uses the same protocol you guys are/ used. I can't go to hime because he is in Hawaii and I am in Georgia.

kate95zach05 hi i hope you dont mind me dropping in, i have never been blessed with any frosties but i have seen lots of FET

if im right i think yours is called a none medicated FET and actually its very good way to do it providing your normal AF is usually on time? i know if i ever had a choice id try to go that way its so much closer to your natural cycle

i have seen the other ladys way also this too has a really good sucess rate i think like Vickie says theirs is a really good way to control your cycle so if your not regular enough or your Dr wants more control over AF and hormones

i wish you a very strong BFP and a big baby belly very soon...
