My miracle baby Chloë Mae

Post by Dagny »

Hi ladies

I've just posted on the general forum for the first time in yonks. I've been lurking since my miscarriage a few years ago and since then I got pregnant with girl/boy twins and sadly like Katelyn they were born too soon and became angels. Leah was stillborn at 20 weeks and Kieran was born at 22 weeks and died in my arms  Katelyn. Leah and Kieran are all buried together now and David and I miss them terribly.

I have however just given birth to our miracle baby girl Chloë Mae. She was born by c-section on that very snowy Wednesday morning January 24th at 10.29am. She weighed 7lb 5oz and has a head full of beautiful auburn red hair! She's amazing and I can't get enough of her. I will put a few photo's on photobucket when Chloë lets me use two hands

Being a mummy has been my dream for 7 long years and I can't quite believe I actually am a mummy now a real mummy. I'm so happy I cry a lot lol!

Jules if you are reading this thanks for your PM. I did get it which prompted me to log on and post our good news.

I'm a mummy - Waaahhhoooooooo :D :D :D :D :D

Hi to anyone who remembers me...

Dagny, I remember you. It was your words that gave me comfort when I had my miscarriage. Congrats on becoming a mommy - makes everything so worth while, don't you think?

Dagny,

I was so excited to hear your news from Tracey and it's lovely to hear all about little Chloe here. I'm thrilled for you and David and I hope that you're having a great time being the parents that you've deserved to be for so long. And I'm sure that Katelyn, Leah and Kieran are watching over their precious sister.

Our love to you all.

Dagny,

Your news is so fab, i am absolutely thrilled to bits for you both. I don't think we spoke much when you were about but seeing your profile and how you battled on despite losing your precious babies, really encouraged me when i was about to undergo my ivf, so thank you for that, you are a true inspiration of how not to give up on our dreams.

wishing you all the best

love

Dear Dagny
I haven't posted on here since I had my precious little boy in Oct 2004 but I still browse the boards.
I can't believe you have gone through losing 2 more precious babies and are still here to tell the tale, you truly are an inspiration. I cried when I read your post because I cannot believe that someone should have to suffer like you have.
I just want to say that no one deserves such a happy ending as much as you and your dh.
Chloe Mae is a very very lucky little girl.
I wish you all every happiness for your lives together
lots of love

Hi girls

Thanks so much for all your lovely replies.

I really can't believe how blessed we are to have Chloë Mae now. She is so incredibly wonderful and my heart just bursts with love for her.

I miss Katelyn, Leah and Kieran so much but Chloë has given me the chance to look forward again and be truely happy once more.

We are all blessed to be able to post over on this forum - I just wish everyone's dreams on the general forum could come true too...

Lots of love and baby hugs Dagny and Chloë Mae xxx :D

Hiya Dagny,
Many congratulations on the birth of Chloe Mae.
I have often wondered how you were doing and i'm so sorry to read of your further losses. You have been through so much and you truely deserve all your happiness with your precious little one.
My little Kady has made the heartache over the years so worthwhile, there is no greater gift in this world than becoming a mummy and holding your little one in your arms.
Take care,
Lotsa love

Dear Dagny,
Congratulations, congratulations! I am so happy for you. I admire so much your and your husbaned's strength and spirit to continue trying despite such terrible losses. I am so glad you and David have your precious daughter!
I have not posted for ages, my twins are now two and a half but when they were just two embryos you and Tracey were the first ones to welcome me to these boards and help me with my fears and doubts. I have often thought of you and wondered how you have been. I wish you all the happiness in the world with your daughter. The sadness for her brother and sisters can never go away, but still, I hope there will be countless happy moments for your family in the future.
love,
