where are my pheonix friends???

It's been quite here, since Friday!!! HHope u had a great w-end!!! I am guessing we did, as no posts!!!!

My w-end was good, went to London to see brother/sister in law and our little niece!!! bless her lil heart, she's 18mths, shes' so cute!!! had a lovely time and amazing my sister in law didnt piss me off like she normally does!!! so that was good!!! Baby katie was the best thing all w-end but when we left I cried my heart out, I am so jealous of her!!!!

We did the touristy thing sunday, and had a walk out along the river, had sunday lunch, it was nice!!!

Work yesterday was a pile of crap!!!!! You know that place has been going down hill, and 4 people have left so are mega short on staff, now another girl has been signed off with stress, so now we are 5 down!!!! arghhhhhh!!!!
I dread to think what ahppens when i have time off for IVF and i do intend to take the time off, but the manager has already cleared it so that their problem!!!

I have a stinking cold now, so i am off today!!!! Parhaps i shouldnt be sitting here typing but never mind!!!!

Hi NIKKI!!!!! Looks like we are the only ones around.....Glad you had good weekend, your neice sounds delightful! I had a hectic time - still trying to sort a new bedroom so living out of suitcases.....trying to get a new boiler sorted so been fire hunting too and I can't find anything I like!!!!!!! I really have to be in a "shopping frame of mind" and I am just not...Went out with old work friends Friday and to our friends for takeaway Saturday so need a week off now to recover! lol.

As for work....sounds a nightmare but all I can say is that it is a good job you are taking time off for treatment if it is that hectic/stressful/depressing! Need to think of yourself or you will be joining sickie number 5!

KATE - How did today go...any developments on FET? Fingas crossed for ya

Hi Girls,

Had my second scan today, all appears well. Instead of waiting until I naturally ovulate (which I did on my last 2 FET's) they have given me Ovitrelle to bring it on. I have to inject that tonight and then I go in next Tuesday for the transfer. Anyone else had to take Ovitrelle to bring on ovulation? They obviously know what they are doing but I am pretty sure I would have naturally ovulated tomorrow. Oh well, we live and learn!!

Nickie - you sound like you are having a nightmare at work - I can only send you my sympathy! I kind of know what you are going through, one of my department has now had 2 weeks off (bearing in mind its half term next week). Wouldn't be so bad if she didn't just have a cold and cough and has said that she doesn't want to be ill for her trip to Florida!!! Cheeky cow!

Lisa - how's the bedroom? Its a nightmare decorating, we did our whole house just before we had the in-laws come over from Trinidad for our wedding - complete chaos! Good luck with sorting it out!!

Kate cant help ya with the ovulation thing u are taking sorry!! But best of luck with the Transfer on tuesday!!! Then it's 2ww for you and you nxt!!!

Julie!!! Living out of Suitcases, doesn't sound good!!! And hope u get your boiler sorted v.soon!!

Just thought i'd let you know work aint getting better, I cant understand it??? why has everything gone tits up????

anyway, i am not letting it affect my IVF..... I am having my blood tests done fri, you know the £350 quid ones!!!!

Dont know when i'll get results, It's only to test for certain illness etc...so i can share my eggs, I am not worried at all.....Rubella CMV and HIV already done!!! think its cystic fibrosis and chromosones and somethng else!!

Looking fwd to having a lay in 2moz!!! Cool!!!

Lucy, Jen how are things with you both?

Having a very lazy day today. Have let dh take the car to work which means I can't venture far. Its a rubbish day - freezing, damp and raining so I figured I'd be better off indoors. My friend is coming over at 2pm for a coffee and a catch up. Might venute out for a brisk walk to the shops for a magazine later. Going out tonight with another 3 couples to the pub. Have already given my no alcohol excuse to one friend - told her I ate something dodgy last night and have dodgy stomach today so just driving. Luckily in Scotland there is a total ban on smoking in public places which is fantastic - if it wasn't for that I'd be going no where near a pub for the next 8 months!

I am not a well girl...had a good hen night and adam had a boozy but stress free stag holiday. I have come home to Forres with flu. Been in bed since Thursday and it is really playing up my MS. Struggiling to do much more than walk to the loo.

My blood was taken, results back in 2-3 wks, which is pushing it as need to start down regging in 3 and a half wks, they have found a recipient for my eggs, so thats great!!!

Was going out with our god son today, its been canc. so now we are having dinner with friends.
