That is just wonderful Aunty! I told you everything was going to be great. You are doing awesome at proving that Dr of yours wrong. I am so overjoyed for you!

Becky: We have always done ICSI due to severe male factor, so don't know that i have any good advice for you as i am not real familiar with "straight" ivf. But i do want to try to understand what you decision is between. Now, if i am right how i read your post.. the decision between ivf and icsi would be just to increase the chances that the 2 they leave out will actually fertilize, right? Like aunty said, sounds like you had a good fert rate before without icsi. I am not familiar with the "washing and checking" of the eggs in terms of weeding out eggs before icsi. As far as i am aware, all of my mature eggs are icsi'd each time. So in other words, don't think i can be of help (and sorry if i was TOTALLY misunderstanding what you were talking about  ). BUT, you did ask about fert rates for those who had done icsi... keep in mind... we have severe male factor... and these are percentages based on mature eggs--#1 icsi 60%, #2 icsi ~90%, #3 icsi ~85%. Either way though, sounds like you have some good options... and that they are working to find good solutions for you. Fantastic! To boot, i am very pleased for you that you will be getting back on the bandwagon! And am hoping that during your private cycle you can stay on the NHS list... what a bonus that would be! wooohoo!

Aunty: yep, i have never been above overt bribing whether with my real or cyber nieces and nephews :D . They are doing so well, i need to restock my candy drawer!!! ooo Friday? Cool. oh that d*mn R ovary of yours!!! But at least the L stepped up to the plate for both.... and those follicles were full! (i know you were worried there wouldn't be eggs in them). Kind of strange with the whole hydro/bloody tube thing.

Thanks for asking... doing real well, actually. Told my parents last night I have this "BFN celebration" thing down to a science. I know what to eat (whatever i want  ), when to eat (that would be... whenever i want  ), and what to do ( i.e., sitting on the couch chatting on the forum and watching tv when not at work.. and i try to make it so i get afternoons off). Now, I do this for 3 days... then the "celebration" is over (yep, that would be by tomorrow am... oooo, better go buy another pie on the way home today!!!). After doing all this for 3 days, i find i am good to go and seem to be able to look forward (although can't see my feet as well from the 10 lbs that i gain :D ).

Ciao

hi girls

am so sorry haven't been around for a while but am off work and my computer at home is broken so I'm using my friens. Am also so sorry for no personals but haven't got time. Just to update you I had my fet last weds, they thawed 6 and only 1 survived they put that back and now it's waiting game. I am testing on the 16th, I have to do HPT myself they have stopped doing blood tests at my clinic.

Anyway when I get the chance I will pop back in and get around to some personals.

Take care all and wishing you all wonderful BFP's
