Thanks Traci for our own tread, Well I've just got back from clinic had my bloods done I've got to phone up at 1 for results,dont know if I'l phone or dh last time I phoned bit dh had to take over cos I was crying too much to talk,hopefully there will be different kind of tears today! HI there Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but it wasn't to be our time this time. I tested this morning and got a very faint negative and now my period is starting so unfortunatley it's not to be. Just trying to ring the clinic to inform them and get another date. We're hoping to do another diui next month. Gem - wishing you all the luck in the world. oh lisa , im so so sorry to hear your news. its just an awful time, you need to take your time to grieve for your little losses. take time to heal and get strong, and I hope one day you will find the strength to try again for your little dream. you know where we are if you need to talk. take care, a big hug and lots of love to both you and your dh. kathryn x

Sorry guys but its a negative for us as well,we are both gutted dh is more angry this time he wants to know why this keeps happening,we have got an appointment for nxt tues(my birthday)we are going to ask if there are any tests that find out why the embryos dont implant,does anybody know if there are any test? Hopfully it will be third time lucky for us. I feel so sorry for dh I know I shouldnt blame myself but it must be my fault why the embryos dont stick around. We just want to be a mummy and Daddy so much,why is life so cruel. Sorry for being really negative we will be fine and be ready to try again in January,hopeflly 2004 will be our year!! Its so hard telling our family and friends thats its negative again. Lisa so sorry to hear your news,life sucks at the moment,maybe e]we will be cycle buddies in Jan. Gem So sorry to hear your news, you're right it all just SUCKS!, why life is sometimes not fair I don't know. Anyway I'm sure we'll both come back fighting. We've been lucky enough to get an appointment on thursday to see the consultant and hopefully then he'll sort out some more dates for me to start down-regging again!! I know it was my first cycle and everything, but I was sooooo hopeful, especially as my period hadn't arrived and my tummy had been doing 'strange' thinks. Was really upset this morning which wasn't fair because it is dh's birthday. Poor bloke is off taking an exam now as well. He's been so good and was first to say that if I wanted we'd do another cycle straight away. Oh well, we'l start again. In the meantime I' going to have some wine and chocolate with my darling hubby to night and make sure we both have a great evening. Take care al of you, I'l let you know the outcome of my appointment on Thursday. Lisa x x

hi gem, im really sorry for you. such a horrible horrible feeling. Ill say what I said to poor lisa, take time to come to terms with it gem, as you have suffered a huge loss, losing your little embies. I think alot of the time our instinct is to jump in striaght away, because its what we all so desperately want, and sometimes we dont give ourselves the time to heal properly. I am glad though that you showing willing to try again and reach for the little baby dream we all so badly want. next year WILL be a good year and perhpas we may even be cycle buddies again. you asked about tests. our consultant has us booked in for various tests at st marys in london, and in the meantime we are being tested for a chromosone mis match. There are tests like the natural killer cell tests, but our consultant seemed to poo poo that, looking more at blood clotting. if you put a post out about tests, Im sure youll get a much varied response. your clinic might be keen for you to do another cycle first. weve had 4 m/c and 3 failed attempts and its only NOW they are testing......bit peeved by that. Its all stuff youll be able to discuss at your follow up. in the meantime, I send you big hugs and lots of love, take good care of yourselves, and again, im really sorry, kathryn x

Lisa & Gem I am so sorry, please don't beat yourself up about it its not your fault, sometimes they stick othertimes they don't, and there is nothing you can do. on a positive note the next time the odds are in your favor. Gem and Lisa I was truly shocked to hear that both of you were negative. Honestly thought it would be a lucky day for both of you today. What more can I say? The others have said it for me. Pamper yourselves. gem - I know what you mean about being so angry as it's your second time. I know I will feel exactly the same if I test negative on Sat as it's our second time too. You just feel on the second or third time that you deserve it even more. However, It's good that you have both got on the ball to get your follow-up appts so quickly. That must give you back at least a touch of control. best of luck for your next Dec/Jan cycles. all my love beckym xxx
