Thanks Suzhan on the acu tip, I am actually having my first acu on Thursday, so hope she might help......my only concern is that me and DH are going on a cruise for a week starting this Sunday, so if AF arrives while I am on the cruise...how am I going to do the CD 2-3 bw and scan???????????

........so I really hope it arrives between today and Friday....do some jig for me, please!!!!!!!

Oopsies...well the evil witch better get here tomorrow or stay away another week, huh? I'll keep everything crossed that it works out for you. What did the RE say to do if you start AF when on the cruise? Tell him to fly out to meet you with his portable machine...you've paid enough.....

Hi ladies,

Just returned from FET 2 survived the thaw, we got 1-3 cell, and 1 5 cell which was 6 cell by the time of transfer, went much better this time and being pampered by DH.

Suzhan thanks for the well wishes i test on Feb 19th.

Vicky, sorry AF is still holing you ransom, i hope she comes soon. Enjoy your cruise, i'm trying to find a holiday but can't decide where to go.

Well I am back...Had my FET...1st beta 110 9 days post transfer and 340 12 days post transfer....DO you think these are good numbers???

Skidoo, CONGRATULATIONS, they don't sound like good numbers, they sound like SUPER GREAT numbers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When is your scan??...keep us posted!!!!

Suzhan, yes, you are right I am paying enough to have him come to the cruise by helicopter with a portable machine once AF arrives

today I got my last HCG results, it was finally back to zero today, now I just need this f***ing (pardon my chinese) AF to arrive !!!!!!!!!!

Skidoo, WOW, that's great numbers! I'm happy for you.

Vicky - did you have a d&c? Shouldn't the hcg numbers go back to zero faster than a natural m/c? Just wondering, I had a d&c last Thursday and I go tomorrow to see where my hcg number is. Have fun on your cruise.

For those of you that have had a m/c, how long did your RE tell you to wait to do IVF again? Mine said that we should wait till I have 1 normal cycle then I could try again. I've really had a hard time dealing with this. One minute I think I'm ok then the next I feel like I'm out of control. My regular OB called me today and said that m/c's sometimes trigger postpartum depression and that was probably what I have. I'm meds to cope but I don't want to take them any longer than I have to, especially before starting IVF again.

Hey Jovi, I know, it is very hard, it was for me too, it still is sometimes....
Yes I had a D&C, but apparently it wasn't complete, because 2 weeks after my D&C I started bleeding heavily with big clots (sorry if TMI), and RE said most probably I was releasing some of the reamainings, at that time my HCG was still 8,000, so they have been checking it since then, today, 6 weeks after my D&C is finally zero. It might be sooner for you hopefully.
My RE told me I had to wait 2 normal cycles to start. Basically he said that after my first period after the D&C (the one I am waiting for right now) I can start the BCP's and after I am done with the BCP's I start the preparation for the FET.......hope it helps....

vicky - had my hcg level checked today and it is at 475. RE said it was coming down good but I have to go for rechecks until it is zero. It is so hard to go in the clinic and face everyone again. Sometimes I'm not sure if I can go through all of this again.

Jovi, it is horrible going back to the clinic after the m/c, I know, but believe me time heals everything.....
Your HCG levels seem to be coming down nicely like your RE said, maybe in 2-3 weeks you could be down to zero, and not long after that your AF should make her appearance........do you know what is your future plan yet??......good luck, whatever that may be....(((hugs)))

Skidoo - your numbers sound fantastic to me....I'm so happy for you, congrats!!

Jovi - I had to wait 1 cycles before starting bcps for another cycle, so technically 2 cycles (had the m/c in april and had 2nd cycle in july/aug) - it really did seem like forever. I never did have my hcg tested, i just had to wait for 7 weeks for AF to arrive....I hope yours comes much sooner...

Vicky - any news? where are you going on your cruise? I'm so jealous, I'd love to take a trip somewhere. I keep bugging DH about going on vacation. I hope you have a wonderful, relaxing, and fun time!

Beachbaby - keep us posted on how things are going with the FET!
