An update. I went in for my ultrasound reg: all the bleeding. Seems I have Disfunctional Uterine Bleeding. What the he** is that?? Anyway, They put me on a month of prednisone. EEK! Just what I need more hormones. They have made me so depressed I cry over everything. My weight issues is driving me bonkers. I don't know what else to do with it. I still have 7 lbs before I can do my March cycle, and have only lost like 2 in the last month 1/2. UGH! I am trying soooooo hard. I go to the gym everyday, and have been dieting. Yesterday I barely ate anything. They gave me these diet pills to take, which I couldn't take because they made me very irritable and I couldn't sleep all night. So.... I stopped taking them a month or so ago, but yesterday I started them again. I pretty much need to starve to get the last 7 lbs off in the next 3 weeks. I don't know what I'm going to do. Any advice on how I can get it off. I don't want to delay another cycle. I have done everything possible. I've never found it this hard and don't know why that Dam* scale is not moving. I'm so behind on a lot of the posts, but sounds like many are doing fantastic! I'm going back in for another ultrasound this morning to follow up after a week of progesterone. I'm sure she'll ask about my weight. I just don't know what else to say. I wish there was something I could do to try harder, but I can't not eat at all. Don't you die from that???? Hope everyone is well.

hey ladies

guess what - dh is home!! yippeee...he still has to take it easy for a couple of weeks and then go back in 6 weeks to have his gall bladder removed but at least he's well enough to be home with anti-sick tablets and painkillers. so....although i did consider cancelling the ivf we've decided to carry on with it especially now dh is much better. he told me there is no way we were going to cancel it!! lol.

angie - not long till our scans at all now!! you're one week behind me, arent you? question for you - with the sniffer thing have you found that the top of your nose and back of your throat is getting sore now?? dont know if its my spray or whether its coz of the mints i keep sucking afterwards to take that metal taste away (i so know what you mean though about knowing that at least its worked!! )....my mum reckons it might be the mints...how you getting on with it?? any side effects?

ss - cant wait to hear how your embies are doing. make sure you let us know as soon as you know!! (ok, ok, you can let dh know first if you really have to!! only joking!)

sophie - how you doing hunny??? havent read you for a little while. how are your embies doing??? hugs!

as for me...had my first accu on wednesday...its really bizarre as some needles really hurt when they went in and others didnt at all. once they were in though it was really relaxing. she wants me to go back next week as my energies were a little low apparently (i'm not surprised, keep running to that hospital!! )...

i'm also at home today as all my drugs are being delivered today!! cant wait...my dh has a tiny little fridge in his shed (you know the ones that you can fit about 6 cans in) so we are going to move that in to our spare room to store the meds there. they were meant to deliver them by 1 but i got a call earlier to say that due to the bad weather conditions they should be here by 3 now. fingers crossed they are not delayed any more....the weather here is awful. its juts stopped snowing but its meant to be starting again later...

anyway, sorry for the long post. everyone else - hello and hope you're doing oK!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks lara312 & Ange- i woke up ok, some pain when i walk and when i cough ohhh that hurts but other than that i think the "swelling" has gone down don't feel as bloaded as before just cannot bend much like to put my socks , But feeling better anxy to hear how my babies are doing fingers cross that they had fertilized and growing fine i cannot wait to find out! I will post as soon i hear something...

Cinny that will be funny ha same due dates , When will you hear from your babies today in the pm???

Sorry for the short post, but this is the first day in about 6 weeks that Tom is at work, so I'm a little tired as I had to get up (5am) and pack him a healthy lunch! So I am off to take a hot bath and a nice nap in a bed all by myself!!!!!!! (SIGH.................. )

Lara... I feel your pain! I too woke up at 4am and had the 'what if' anxiety. I'm sitting here at work with burning eyeballs. I know all the anxiety is so normal for us, but that doesn't help when we're going through it.

BWHD...Another old lady I'd be more than happy to share the old lady protocol with you if you're interested. My Dr. was quite proud of himself yesterday after seeing my follie count.

Can't wait to hear everyone's stats today... fertilized embies, betas, etc.

BWHD its sooo good to see you (went to your space) i sent an add to you, im so sorry you are having such a bad time as if this isnt hard enough to deal with...have you tried green tea?....its great for diets might help appart from what your doing i cant think of much else you can do ...although you say your going to the gym are you using weights?...do you knwo muscle weighs more than fat so you could be getting fitter but may weigh more?....i alwas do areobics...just a thought

Hi all

I just wanted to say THANK YOU to each and every one of you who have supported me and kept me going through my treatment this time around. I don't know what I would have done without you all and I just wanted you to know that if I am not seen to be posting much I will definately be lurking around keeping an eye on you and looking out for your BFPs!!

I am feeling fine, although obviously a little anxious (I think I will be until my scan) but am staying positive, although I have to keep pinching myself!

Well my appt on the way started snowing not to bad so we then went shopping the snow got heavier so thought best to go home it took us nearly 3 hrs to get home everybody must have thought lets go home .
very tired now might have hour has did not go back to sleep this morning transfer will be wednesday if they defrost so hopefully they will and then i can join you lovley ladies on the 2ww .
