Dear loopy, sorry about your result. i had something similar happen on my first cycle when I got ohss, where my levels in the first week were quite high and then went down. It is so disheartening cos you get your hopes up. my consultant even told me she thought I was probably pregnant becuase I had the ohss!! (she had just come back from maternity leave after having IVF twins and had been through ohss). hope to see you around these boards after Xmas though for another go. LOL. beckym xxx
hi lou,
Im really sorry for you both. Its just not fair.
This also happened to us in the summer.I know its early on and very raw for you, but I did manage to take comfort from the fact I did get a positive, and I could see that it could work. I realise that not everyone may see it like that, and I wouldnt want to offend anyone by that. In all cases where we dont get that much longed for pregnancy, its terribly sad and hard to deal with.
take time to come to terms with whats happened, and get yourself physically and mentally strong again, so that when you do feel ready to try again you can put all your energy into being positive. you will get there lou.
take good care of yourselves and remember you can yell, scream, cry or talk whenever you want to, theres always someone here.

lots of love
and thinking of you
kathryn
x
