Good infertility facility in New Jersey US?

Post by snowb »

Does anyone have advise on a good facility in New Jersey? I have gone through 4 cycles IVF (2 fresh, 2 frozen) in the past two years with one NJ facility on NY facility, no luck. No explaination from DOC why IVF is not working.

I'm 36 years old, hubby is older and have problem with sperm count and motility. Tried 1 IUI with donor sperms, still no luck.

so frustrating and the clock is ticking....

Thanks for any advise.

Hi Snowb,

I went to RMA (Reproductive Medicine Associates )of NJ. They are, I was told, to be the best. I had to switch over to American Fertility because I changed my health insurance so I would have full coverage for 3 ivf cycles. I like American Fertility alot to. They have an office in NJ and NY. Hope this helps. What was the name of the fertility office you went to?

Hi

The other facility I went was IVF NJ. They have 4 doctors, 3 locations, you could be monitored or operated by any of them. My impression was they were weak on producing embryos. They retried 9 eggs but only fertilized 3. I did another IVF in NY, 4 eggs retrieved, 4 fertilized.

well, all failed transfer though....

Hi,

I'm using SIRM (Sher Institute of Reproductive Medicine). They are all over the country. I am in NY and have been really happy with them. Their website is www.haveababy.com. All my monitoring is done on Long Island (where I live) and the procedures are done in Manhattan.

I'm 43 and my husband is 50. My first IVF retrieved 11 eggs, 7 fertilized and 4 transferred. I did get pregnant but miscarried at 4 weeks. Made some adjustments to my protocol this time around and am doing genetic testing. Had my ER Monday.. 17 eggs retrieved, 12 fertilized. Having my transfer on Saturday. They have really been on top of things, the dr.'s are all very nice and professional and the nursing staff is great too.

Feel free to PM me if you have any questions.

Good luck!

Ange
