Viactive Calcium Chews safe?

Post by k-rose »

I don't produce estrogen so I have always taken Viactive Calcium chews to get more calcium to help with my bones. I am now 6 weeks pregnant and just automatically have continued to take these not even double checking if they were safe. I looked up on the internet and it seems controversial-some saying it's okay, some saying not to take it. Just wondering if anyone's Dr said it was okay???

My Dr. actually told me to start taking them around 14 weeks because due to twins, I need all the calcium I can get. I take one a day in addition to 8 Tums (yuck) and plenty of ice cream to satisfy the medical need :D . You're safe!
