My 13 went down to 8, so I am miscarrying. This hurts more than I thought it would.

I am so sorry to hear that! I definitely understand how painful it can be. Take some time to mourn and then definitely sit and talk with Dr. Zeringue. He is so comforting and you can look at your plans for next time.

sincerely,

Amy

Dam, I am so sorry. I was really praying that everything was good. Wish there was something I could say. Take some time and do something for yourself.

Just wanted to check in with you girls and see how everyone is doing. Do you have any appointments coming up Kelly? Are you meeting with DR Z soon Denise?

All the best!

We believe that we are going to try for a March FET cycle, Brian has spoken to Dr. Z, but I have not yet. (I am mostly ok now) I am at least able to go a day with out crying and I feel good about that. I start a new job Monday and it will be great to further get my mind off of not being pregnant.

Amy, how are things looking for you? Did the tax person have good news?

Kelly, how are you doing? You give me some hope :)

I hope you both are well!

Denise,
Glad things are going a little better for you. Good luck with your new job. That's great that you have some frozen embryo's.

As for me, I had a scare on Thursday and Friday with some bleeding. Thought for sure I was having a miscarriage, but didn't have any cramping or pain with it. We think it may have been from the progesterone suppositories (I guess it can irritate the cervix or uterus enough to make it bleed sometimes). The clinic didn't seem too concerned and had me do a semi bedrest for a couple of days and the bleeding has stopped. I go in for my ultrasound today and I am soo nervous. I think because I really don't have any symptoms yet. I'll keep you posted.

Oh Kelly! I would have been so scared! If they are calm then you should be too! I can't wait to hear about your scan today. Let us know that everything is going alright. Have you heard a heartbeat yet??

Denise - Good luck on the job! Human Resources is always fun. Get to see all the good stuff. Does this insurance company (I am assuming you are in Rancho) have good benefits for you? Any IVF support? That can always help ease the pain a bit. Knowing you can do it again for a reduced rate. Did Dr Zeringue recommend another protocol for the next one? Enjoy your day working and we will look forward to hearing from you after work now!

I am still waiting on my tax appointment. Hoping for some big money!

Amy,

Today was my first ultrasound, so hadn't heard a heartbeat until today, and luckily there was one and everything looked good. I'm 6 weeks 2 days and I have one more ultrasound in 2 weeks before they release me to my regular OB Dr.

Kelly ~

You must be so relieved! I know I am! What sucks is that we have to work so hard to get pregnant and then we still have to go through all the trials of being pregnant. NOT FAIR! Since we paid for it, we should get off worry free. Glad you got a heartbeat today. Do you have a good ob to go back too?

Amy, I have one in Rancho (Dr Mckay) that I have only met twice, but I was thinking of changing. I live right in the middle of all the Kaiser's (Roseville, Folsom, Riverside and Rancho) so I'm not close to one particular one. Do you have one you recommend? I thought in previous e-mails you said you did for Kaiser???

I actually have someone I love that works at Kaiser in Rancho - her name is Carol. I am not sure what last name she uses there so I will find out. That sounded scandalous - just not sure if it is her maiden name or married. I will find out and let you know. She is very sweet and has delivered babies for a friend of mine and they still hang out. We actually go to the river and do a walk with our kids every Monday so I will call her today and ask what she is under. Other than that are you feeling better? Due to the bleeding did they take you off of the suppositories? I am assuming that is stopped?

Have a great day!

K-rose, I am happy that you have a heartbeat! You are going to be a great mom to your baby :)

We did decide to go for a March cycle, so we will put all faith in this one and plan for the best.

Good luck with the upcoming cycle. Is Dr Z going to change anything or just keep going since you were so close?? Can't wait to hear your stories.

Kelly - any decision yet on the ob?

Yes, there will be a change, I will be on the Dexamethosone longer and I will have estrogen patches on my skin. So we shall see :)
