Lara: oooo, FET still the 14th, right? i am so sorry to hear you are having a hard time with the anxiety. I get that. As far as i am concerned it is the nail biting wait that is the worst part of ivf. I am hoping that somehow in all of this you find a sense of peace while you are waiting (wishing i had some wonderful advice for you... but if you remember, not very good at this part myself ). Praying that those 2 "survive the thaw" and look beautiful for your transfer. Thinking of you.

beachbaby: so sorry to hear you are still ill!!! Please take care of yourself and get lots of rest.

Emma: Ahhhh... the tortuous 2ww. i am sorry to hear you are feeling down. The wait plays games with our minds... and the hormones play games with our emotions. I have to second what others have been saying... too early to read into anything. Hang in there... we are all pulling for you!

Aunty and ssalgado: so how does it feel to be PUPO this am?

sophie: sorry to hear about the flu. Hoping the tylenol at least makes you a bit more comfortable. Hoping the prunes help...

mominwaiting: there have been a few times where i have had very serious pain/soreness after my PIOs (usually shows up hours later). Not sure exactly why, as the vast majority of the time, i didn't have problems. Usually went a way in a few days. I think the heat after does help a bit, so if you aren't doing that... it is something to try. Good luck!

Ange: All the luck in the world today for collection!!! I am anxious to hear how it goes.... your RE has been so proud!

Dinner went well last night, although wish i had made a different entree. OH well. I am really into healthy gourmet food and really enjoy feeding the peeps i love. Like seeing them happy... and healthy!!! But as this was MIL's 60th... it was pretty carb heavy per her request... We had a baby spinach/spring mix salad with feta and gorgonzola cheeses, green onion, red apple and candied almonds. i made french bread (slightly sweet) with homemade strawberry jam (you should see how many loaves these people put away!!!). We also had my orzo pasta with tomatoes, lemon and fresh thyme. Also snap peas and portobello mushrooms. The entree was crispy salmon served over a bed of french lentils and drizzled with a balsamic reduction. As for the kids.... ok, they didn't ONLY eat out of the candy drawer... they also had hotdogs . Everyone cleared their plates so it couldn't have been too bad. They also put down 4 pies!!! Had a great time but totally exhausted when had to get up early for work this am!! Meeting bro and girlfriend for lunch b4 they head back to LA... then may just go home and crash!!!!

ew! I had one intense cramp just as my husband called a few minutes ago! Mmmmh... either that dancing I did while listening to some real nice rock on Radio Blog... or the Progesterone... or my uterus shifting to accomodate my little trasures so they nap more comfortably... Ah, well, it's gone! So it's lunch time and then walk time with my doggie! And then another hormone dose!

Ok Ladies how about trying an old myth (the needle trick) to have a little fun and see if this really works.

I can say I’ve done it with my past pregnancies and w/ friends & it always came out true.

Some of you may have heard about it .. anyway here is what you do put thread through a needle (8-10 inches) & let the needle dangle in the center of your palm .. if it goes back/forth they say it’s a boy .. if it goes in a circle it’s a girl … it if stops and begins again watch out that means possible multiples.

Just thought this would be fun to do!  Let’s hear everyone’s feedback

So there ya go! Prediction is: a boy and a girl for me! That would be perfect; that's exactly what we want! Twins, a boy and a girl! Our family would be complete!

They retrieved 17 eggs! My sister is now calling me 'mother hen'. It's really funny to see how suprised and pleased the dr.'s are. I'm not sure if it's because 17 is truly a big number, or the response is a good one given my age. In any event, I'm thrilled. I'll get the call with the fert rate tomorrow and am scheduled for my transfer on Saturday.

Sassy that meal sounded delicious!!!!! Mouth is watering just thinking about it! As for Abby, the Dr. said he wasn't sure what is wrong with her, just that it could be broncitious. For now her fever has broken, but the lovely dear just threw up her bright pink med all over my new couch! She is crying as she feels bad that both her and I are stained pink! It's a GREAT DAY TO BE ME!!!!!!!

Erin, so glad to see that your numbers have more then doubled!!!!!
