I am ok. Had a fab girlie night out last nite (Lisa - I am taking advantage at the moment....soon hoping to be a temple!!). Was glad of it as freeeeezzzzzing at home! Having combi boiler done yesterday/today so no heating, water etc. Been invited out for tea to si-in-laws as can't cook here and no housework this weekend (yippppeeee)...everything has an upside!!!

Hope you get your bloods back in time. Thats great that they have found an egg sharer for you. However she is she is very lucky to have someone like you that is able to share their eggs. Did work improve by the end of the week?

Not much to report here, I got a phone call from my friend's phone today from a policeman (got the fright of my life) to ask me to come over to my firend's house. Her husband had gone missing in the hills whilst climbing up North last night ansd there was a massive search and rescue under way. Luckily he was found safe and well so spent most of the afternoon with my friend calming her down. Watching a dvd tonight with dh ad cosying up on the couch.
Julie I have been telling some close friends but don't want to tempt fate by telling everyone but I swear one of my friends kept looking at my belly last night when she was drunk. Was funny being the sober one!

Girls, AF is on her way!!!!
I have browny smudges ( i usually get this 1or 2 days before AF full bleed)
So now its sunday night, sure AF will be here full on tomorrow or tues, so now that will mean, if it's tues, I need Fsh, Lh and oestrial (sp??) on day 2,3,4 which will be, wed thur or fri. i need day one to be tues, as going to clinic on fri. wow, i cant beleive Af is here early!!
so i am glad, but dh has just shed some tears, as i told him about brown smudges. he knows he'll never be the father, but i told him he'll still be a great daddy after this IVF is +ive!!
As i sit here, AF pains are getting stronger, I really dont want it coming monday, please hold out for Tues!!

FSH is best tested on day3 though, each clinic may have its own protocol.
It basically is done on day2 or day 3 as everything is new in there and it'll tell you how much hormones are being produced by your body and whether you'll need a specific protocol to follow.Normally high FSH levels would indicate a higher dosage of drugs.
Lh and FSH go together so.. and well about estrodiol,i'm not sure as i dont know what that does..

Nicki did AF come then?? Its all go! Yepeee!!! Just you wait, Dh will be so excited when you get your BFP. Dh is talking about "his pea and our pea" (our name for our growing embie/foetus) and is always kissing my stomach - he is so poud already! Just you wait, it won't make a shread of difference once you get your BFP!!

Julie - how's your boiler? Bet you're glad to have some heating?!! Although like you said it has its upside in not having to do any cooking or housework...perhaps I can get mine to break down?
Nickie - don't the number of blood tests just get confusing? I'm sure it won't make any difference to your IVF, they just want to check everything is ok. How exciting that your tmt is going to start so soon!
Gail - where has the time gone, I can't believe you only have 6wks left!! I bet it seems like forever though, especially if you are carrying a baby elephant!!

As for me, its the big day tomorrow. I am quite excited actually and still feeling quite positive. I've arranged to have accupuncture before and after my ET, although the nurse I spoke to about arranging times to come in was a bit funny about it. At my clinic they like to come in an hour and a half before the actual transfer ( no idea why its so long before!). So i phoned up to find out what the latest time I could arrive was, explaining that I live an hour away and she just said to me that I had to get there exactly one hour before and that was that! She was quite stroppy about it! Would it really matter that much if I arrive 50mins before instead of 60mins? What would they do, cancel the ET?!! I just couldn't believe how unhelpful she was, oh well her problem not mine!!
Anyway, girls all being well I will be on the dreaded 2WW as from tomorrow and I doubt if I will log on for a few days, am going to sit on the sofa and do nothing!!!

Hate this flu and hate my MS...I am still feeling so weak but definately better than yesterday..Thank goodness i have 3 wks to get some strength up to travel half way across the world to get married.
Been laying out my stuff (sunglasses and factor 50 for my face ) in the spare room as well as most of the ski gear...I am so tired now and off to bed.

Oh and by the way, AF not here, so thats good!!! spotting still, so day 2-4 will still be ok for fri, I have to kill 2 birds with one stone as the drive to the clinic is 1 hr30mins away!!! this is why i want AF when i want it!!!!
