hi nicky,
thanks for your message.

our spare room is pink too, i think it was hot pink! your counsellor sounds right. On our 1st and 2nd go I arranged everything 'just in case'. I wish our counselor had offered some decent advice. ours was really weird! his name was pip and he kept telling steve that he was 'wearing an overcoat, and he should take it off'!!! basically steve isnt too hot on opening up to people, and this pip was truly mad, and we were just in hysterics afterwards. poor steve, Im used to the counselling game due to crappy sad things, and its really important to have a counsellor you can get on with , otherwise its a waste of time, and pip was certainly a waste of time....and money!

we have had to pay privately for our treatment , due to being in a no go nhs area.
We have been very fortunate because when my grandma and grandpa died, they left my mum their house, so mum is paying for our tmt. grandma and grandpa were desperate for us to have children, and its what they would have wanted. fortunately, this has meant there were no waiting liststo conquer.

when we first realised nothing was happening, we were tested for various things on the nhs. ater the 2nd laparoscopy, they realised they couldnt do anything with my tubes, so we were forwarded on to a private clinic. the nhs tests took about 18months to 2 years.

we got a copy of a letter yesrerday form our clinic, which was for the dr at st marys. in the letter it says that we hope for another cycle in january, which would be excellent, but I bet realisticly it will be feb /march. I actually feel glad for having a bit of a break!

saturday night must have been a bit scary for you, with the pain you had. thank god it was a dodgy curry. It must be a worry for you when you become unwell.
what film did you go and see then? steve is a huge film freak, hence owning a movie rental shop! he has to watch a film EVERY night! I just curl up on the sofa with my blanket and sleep!

i went christmas shopping with my mum yesterday. when I went to pick hr up she showed me a beautiful basket that she had bought. she said she has bought it to fill up with baby goodies! bless her! it has the blanket that my grandma crotched for me! my mum is desperately wanting to be a grandma! I have a step brother and step sister and a little brother (whos actually 29!) and none of them are going to produce for a while yet! steves mum and dad are also desperate for grandchildren, and theres no hope of his brother producing as he has a boyfriend! steves brother is on stand by if we need a sperm donor!!!

blimey Ive well waffled on!
I take it your mum and dad will be back in time for christmas? what do you do for christmas?
lets hope next christmas we will both have a much busier one with little babies!

Ill shut up before I waffle any more!

take care nicky,
lots of love
kathryn
x
