Druett... That is unbelievable. Congratulations!

Lara..Glad you are feeling better.

Cinny..I didn't experience vomiting with my transfer. I hope you feel better.

The nurse called me this afternoon and out of 17 retrieved, 16 produced mature eggs and 10 fertilized.

Feeling achey today and my cold has gone to my chest. ugh! Aside from that I feel really positive about all this.

hugs,
Ange

Ok Auntie....I have had that before....it's what sent me to my OB/GYN 7 years ago, turns out I was pregnant with Abby. Now it's been said that if you're munchkin(s) give you a hard time before they are born the nicer they will be when they are older. Just kidding about that, really it's the only thing that gets me through the "rough" spots with that girl.

But I am taking that pain of yours as a good sign, based on my own experience.

I have everything crossed for you.

Druiett - Congratulations on TWINS !!!!! you must be so excited and looking forward to next Tuesday when you can hear the heart beat.
Enjoy the next 8 month adventure !!!!

Beach baby and Sophie I hope your colds are easing and you are feeling better - when you get home from work grab a cosy duvet and curl up on the couch and have a snooze.

Sassy - I loved your menu, Isn't it fun putting it together and having family around. I love entertaining also and it is always fun planning and putting together an interesting and tasty menu

Aunty - you know the rules, relax, take it easy and enjoy your princess status !!!

Charlie78 - Not long to go. It really is a test in patience isn't it. Try to find something to distract you a little - perhaps work on planning your self a new kitchen or redoing your bedroom or bathroom - even if you aren't planning on doing it - go through some magazines, look at paint samples, fittings and furniture - what you are looking for is a distraction...... I find if I can find something else to do or focus my time on the days go a little quicker. Before you know it you will be getting the BFP test result.

cinny1 I hope the cramping and vomiting have subsided and you are feeling better

Ange wishing you a quck recovery from your cold, I am sure it will be on it's way out in a day or 2 !! congratulation on 10 fertilizing - only a couple of days to go and they will be back home with their Mom. Isn't it amazing to think your darling little baby/s are in the process of growing !!!

To everyone else - keep strong, take one day at a time, we will all get there !!!!!

as for me I'm doing really good (I consider myself to be very fortunate - as I was rather afraid how I would deal with it all at the start), I have a little bloating and a few bruises but that is about it - I had a blood test yesterday and they said everything is looking perfect - I have an US on Friday - can't wait to see all the eggs growing, EC should be on Monday and ET next Thursday.
After they called yesterday afternoon with my BT result I think it finally all hit home. In a few days we are finally going to be making our dream a reality - I feel really excited and keep smiling at the thought that in a few days we are going to make it happen.

Have a good day everyone

Hi Charlie,

Go for it with redocorating the 2nd bedroom (and yes you can blame me).

You will find the next week will fly by once you get your teeth stuck into the project - even if it is just new covers, curtians and accessories.

Have fun planning and don't lift anything heavy !!!!

Good afternoon guys!

Strange day today, lots of back and forth trips with the car... darn passeport! With the new law, it's completely crazy to get your Canadian Passeport renewed... 60 working days! (THANKS BUSH!) Made two trips to passeport offices and none of them offers the express service. I absolutely have to pay extra for it, because we want to leave on April 19th for our honeymoon... so tomorrow I'll have to drive downtown to yet another passeport office, wait in line for probably three hours and give them the darn papers! (and pray nothing is missing!) Gah, hate that! I'll bring a book AND knitting! AND a chair!

On a happier note, however, my cold doesn't seem so bad after all. I still blow my nose, but it seems to be something quite light after all. Not too bad (though of course my nose is already a wreck from yesterday evening's constant dripping!). Aaaaaand I got a facial! Soooo relaxing! My beautician is almost a friend, and she takes real good care of me. So here I am, all relaxed with gooey hair and nice skin! ;)

Aunty: Sorry about the pain! Yeast infection??? Since when does it cause cramping?? I do hope it was implantation! If it wasn't, maybe it was simply your uterus shifting to accomodate your wee ones. Apparently, that pulls a lot on the ligaments and causes pain. I hope it won't happen too much however. Delighted to see you're allowing yourself to step out of your bed.

Cinny: I couldn't agree more with Aunty; I would call your clinic immediately. Could be OHSS, could be food poisening. Either way, vomiting at this stage does not sound too normal. Doesn't mean that your embies are in danger, but I wouldn't just wait until it passes.

becleo You teaser! You big teaser! The thought did cross my head indeed... that one's immune system is weaker when you're pregnant. I try not to read too much into anything at this point. It's becoming harder, but I'm still okay. This morning I had tiny yellow spotting and didn't like it, but it most probably means nothing at all. It stopped anyaway and it's back to plain white. My breasts hurt, though, and my nipples are bigger than usual, and harder (took a few slaps on the wrists for DH to understand that using it as an excuse to play with them more was not enjoyable for me!) It's funny though, because my whole breast hurts, not just the tips like before AF. Anyway, Sunday seems still far away, but I'm trying to focus on other things as much as I can. How are you doing? How is the fatigue sweetie? It's great to have news! Thanks for encouraging me!

druiett awwwww twins! Oh, that's amazing news! CONGRATULATIONS! I'm so happy for you darling! :D :D :D

arizonakiwi it's really great to have news sweetie! Glad you're sailing through this okay! I wish I could just grab a duvet, lol! But I'll actually leave for work soon... and come back around 9pm... but dinner will be ready and I'll grab a duvet then, and crash in front of the TV with my beloved! I'm really glad that your blood test gave you good news! Grow, follies, grow!!! :D Keep us posted!

Ange, my friend! 10 babies! Hey, you really are the poster child, aren't you? how is your cold now? Awww I really hope your DH is taking good care of you! Divide and conquer little ones, your mommy will soon welcome you back! Hang in there, it's almost transfer time! *hugs*

charlie I'm so sorry you're going through a rough time... I hope you have people to talk to. I agree with the others, though, do try to find something else to focus your thoughts on... the test is coming! The biggest part of the wait is well behind you!

Nouna, you've been awfully silent. How are you doing? How is the 2ww for you? We're here if you need us!

Okay guys! Time for me to prepare... take care, and to all those I forgot, a big HUG and positive vibes!

Warning! Off topic!

okay, okay, okay!

I have to get this off my chest!

A co-worker at the clinic here just asked me how tall I am... I answered politely, but not in a way that suggested that I was happy she asked... and there she went, not reading anything on my long face, telling me I'm probably the tallest in the clinic, asking if my parents were both tall and blaaaaah blaaaah blaaaah!

Please, pleeeeease guys! DON'T ask tall people exactly how tall they are! Do you ask large-breasted women what bra size they wear? Well, same thing, just less obvious! We are asked SO many times, we're sick of it! Not to mention how "out of the norm" it makes us feel! WE ALREADY KNOW THAT, WE DON'T NEED REMINDERS! SHOPPING ALWAYS DOES THE TRICK!

There! I've said it! ;)

Hugs and kissies,

Sophie
