Anybody doing IVF in Massachusetts??

I'm wondering if anyone has info about infertility treatments in MA?? I heard that the state requires that insurance cover infertility. I am a MA resident and also CA but I'm wondering what qualifies one for coverage?? If anyone has any info please, please let me know!! Thanks a million!

I also live in Mass. I just had my tranfer on 2/9/7 waiting to find out if my little embies stuck!! Where abouts are you? Im near Worcester and I think your right about the insurance having to cover. This is my second go at IVF and all I have had to pay was my $5 co-pay.

hi girls!

i am from massachusetts too - north of boston. i am not confirmed to have to have ivf just yet - still waiting for af - but i think my doctor is leaning towards that fact that it might be a good option for me.

i have heard and done some reading about massachusetts insurance covering ivf. i read that if your insurance covers maternity - then it mandatory it covers ivf.

I'm also from MA. Starting IVF/ICSI at MGH Fertilit Center. So far I'm very impressed with everything- the doctors and the nurses are great. Always available to answer my questions. In terms of insurance, we don't have to pay for a dime except for $10 co-payments.

WOW I AM HAPPY TO FIND MORE PEOPLE FROM MASS... I AM FROM SPRINGFIELD, MA, AND YES IT IS AMAZING ON THIS WONDERFUL STATE COVERS THE IVF, I DID IVF (ICSI) FOR THE 1ST TIME BACK IN 2003 AND BLESSING CAME DOWN I GOT PREGNANT

MY "LITTLE MONSTER" (HE IS 40 POUNDS AND 4INCHES LONG) IS 2.5 YRS OLD SO IT WORKS!!! NOW I AM GOING FOR MY 2ND TRY I HAD 1 FROZEN WHICH I USED ON DEC-2006 DIDN'T STICK, THEN WE JUST DID A FRESH CYCLE OUCH! AND GOT 2 EMBIES PUT IN TESTED ON FEB 22 CAME OUT NEGATIVE, GOT 3 BLASTOCYST FROZEN GETTING THOSE BABIES HOME WITH MOMMY POSSIBLY ON MARCH 16 IF LINNING IS GOOD AND BLOOD WORK SO FINGERS CROSS... THAT THIS TIME WORKS SO MY BABY CAN HAVE A SIBILING..

SO KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK... I AM FROM THE DEC-JAN THREAT ,THERE IS 2 GIRLS FROM MASS AS WELL THAT JUST GOT PREGNANT YUPEEE FOR US.... NEXT!!
