no fertility dr. just family dr clomid metformin

well this is a long story.We adopted a baby borought him home at 16 hours old.He is.a our life We got married when i was 17.And not long after that my cycle stoped didnt have another one untill i had gastric bypass so that was 17years without a cycle.25 days surgery my cycle started. dr said to use protection for at least18 months because a baby wouldnt get enough food.we didnt think we had any thing to worry about .husband had a low sperm count .well were not drinkers we went out last new years 9 mixed drinks later i was pg. with twins on quit developing at8 weeks.so we have a 5 month old baby girl so now i have two miracals.and we are trying again im not ovulating well not everymonth i did one time in three months. so this month dr put me on metformin and next month clomid if it works whats the chances of multipals does this combo work if dont work fast im not going to keep trying im getting old im 37 now well anyone can answer this please help me.im so upset everymonth when i start this month i got the eggwhite mucus not alot but some but the ovulation test was neg. i think the loss of Lanies twin is what is makeing me want another baby my son is the bomb there is no difference between a adopted baby and on you have natural so if a baby came up before i get pg. would take it in a min.and be done but dont see anytime soon but i can hope Lanie is the best baby she sleeps all night and has from the get go i had to wake her up to feed her and change her she is a doll baby and her big brother is so good with her well thats it for now thanks
