Hello Everyone! I have been away visiting my family, as my father has been ill. I have read up & am pleasantly surprised to see how many ladies we have on this thread now!

To Everyone in their 2WW: GOOD LUCK!!!

To Di, Ellen & Wisconsin Gal: CONGRATULATIONS!

To Tammy:
I am excited to think that your new bundle of joy may make his debut at any moment now!

To Anna & Yasmina: You two are almost there too.

To Kat: I did acupuncture both before & after on the day of ET because the acupuncturist came to the clinic & did it there. Is that a possibility for you?

As for me: I have begun IM shots of DelEstrogen in prep for a mock EEP cycle. I had the baseline U/S & HSG done last cycle. This cycle I will have an U/S & bloodwork locally on the 24th, then go to D.C. on the 5th for a mock ET & endometrial biopsy, while DH deposits hsi SA @ the laboratory. The biopsy will be sent to Johns Hopkins in NYC & takes a couple of weeks for the results to come back. I then have another consult w/the doctor & find out if I qualify for their program. If so, we will get to start the ED matching process the end of March. Once we are matched it will just be a matter of cycle syncro. It is taking longer than I hoped! I certainly hope I qualify for their program after all this! :?

hi all
Just a quickie
Caz - what can I say - its sh1t. Take care of yourself and hope to see you popping in to keep your eye on all of us from time to time.

LuAnne - my acupuncturist has a busy clinic and could not leave it to travel to my ET unfortunately - I think I will most likely go from ET to acu and then home. DH can be taxi driver for the day! This is of course based on the assumption that I get to ET, taking one step at a time and not getting ahead of myself!

speak soon

Hi Ladies,

032323 -- what if the stick is wrong???? Are you going to go to a doctor? You know they say the sticks aren't always accurate. Don't give up yet because of that .. still keeping eveything crossed for you for that BFP

Hi everyone, just a quickie - no time again!

Have managed to post some pics of Wills on the photobucket site (I hope). There are three images, one of his first outing in his car seat, another on his play mat and a third when he was first born in hospital, wrapped up to keep his body temperature up.

Hope I got it right and you manage to get a peak at him. He is adorable, but then I am "slightly biased".

Speak soon, love to everyone

I just returned from the OB and have been progressing nicely since my last visit. I am 80% effaced, 1 cm dilated and Andrew is in the -2 station regarding engagement. My OB thinks that he will come early. The ultrasound estimated his weight at 7 lbs 5 oz. I'm so excited. I hope he comes soon.

Bev: Your little Wills is adorable!!!!! What a head of dark hair!

Kat: It looks like you are progressing well with your cycle. When is the ET scheduled?

LuAnne: I'm hoping everything works out for you with this clinic.

Yasmina: How do you do it?? I am so glad to be home during these last few weeks. I've been having strong BH contractions and have to pee so often now. Take care of yourself. Have you started dilating and thinning out yet?

Anna: How are you doing? How does it feel to be in the last trimester? Have you had any of the Braxton Hicks contractions yet?

Jen: I hope you are feeling better now.

Hello to Wanda, Catharine, Kim and anyone else that I have missed.

Take care all,
Tammy

Hey All-
Where do the days go? Like Yasmina I read the posts frequently but have too much work ahead of me such that I have a hard time squeezing replys back to all you wonderful ladies.

Wishing everybody all the best as they progress along their paths.

So, I feel like I've blinked and before I know it, it's time for ER, Sat. 17th, and ET most likely Tuesday, 20th. I have several nicely developed follies in both ovaries. Crossed fingers that they are not too fragile.

I want you all to know how greatful I am for the knowledge you all impart in your personal stories/replies. With out you I would be a basket case, wondering if my journey is normal or aby-normal. Despite the details of our stories having differences, for the most part we all have similar questions and worries. It's grand to have such a nice support group.

I have a scan next Weds and hopefully still on schedule for ET 7th March...

Has anyone had meds cause dry skin problems? My hands are sooo dry and some of the skin is cracking & is sore and I am sure it can't just be the weather, they have never been this bad before

Tammy, I don't know, sometimes I just want to cry. I have to submit the grant in three days and give a talk in the same day! I have never had such a hard time to prepare a seminar talk - I keep forgetting things and sometimes I can not construct a complete sentence!

Yes, I am 1 cm dilated and 70% effaced, but no sign of her coming out soon, since I was 1 cm dilated already 10 days ago, no progress made! She has never "dropped" and my stomack acid still attacking! I am running out of skin and I feel numb in the center of my belly. My OBs never gave me any ultrasound ever since 20 weeks and I have no idea how big my girl is and how she is doing in the womb.

Are you going to give Andrew a natural birth? I may elect for c-section if I have no sign of my girl moving out at week 40, which will be 8 days away. My OBs seem to be awfully calm about her. I, on the other hand, worried to death, I asked for an quick ultrasound, but was rejected!

Bev, thanks for the pictures and I am jealous! Absolutely jealous!

Caz, any definite result?

Anna, soon you and I will be the only ones with bumps now, Tammy will be ahead of me, I am pretty sure. I am pleasantly surprised how far along you are already! Glad that you are doing so well!

All the others who are waiting for folicles to grow, eggs to be collected, ETs, and blood tests, good luck to you all. Keep posting and we all want to know all of your progress.

Hello Ladies:

Caz: I'm sorry that your cycle did not produce a BFP. Keep trying!

Yasmina: You poor thing!!! I can't believe that you have to give a seminar talk in your condition. I have such pressure on my cervix when I walk around. I don't think Andrew has dropped either, but my doctor said that is not a big deal. He said that some women do not drop until they are in labor. I can't believe your dr. will not give you an ultrasound! That would make me furious. I just asked and my doctor said yes. They measured the amniotic fluid levels and measured his head, abdomen and femur. That is how they estimated his weight to be 7 lbs 5 oz. I have been having a terrible time sleeping. I've stopped eating meals and have opted for small snacks. My stomach acid is terrible too. I have a bottle of Rolaids beside my bed. I felt a lot of pressure on my cervix last night.
I'm going to go for a vaginal delivery, unless there are unforseen problems. Do they measure your fundus height when you go to the dr? That is where they use a tape measure and measure from the top of the belly down to the groin area. Mine was 40 cm yesterday which would correlate to an average sized baby at 40 weeks. Since both the ultrasound and fundus measurement are close, I'm hoping they are correct.

Kat: March 7th will be here before you know it. I'm so excited for you!

Catharine: Good luck on your ER tomorrow. I'm hoping for several mature eggs!!!!

Hello to everyone else.

Take care,
Tammy

Wanda (quote) Catherine I hope all goes well with your ER today and then with your ET on the 20th. I am at the moment waiting for my ER which may take place on the 23 or sooner and then the Et maybe for the 26th or 28th of Feb. Good luck and blessed prayers.
