I too was a hpt addict. I had a severe addiction. Three a day for a week. I got a faint +ve a week b4 my beta test. I don't think this happens too often though. My opinion is test if you want too, but be prepared for a possible false -ve - they happen all the time on this forum.

Oh ladies, at least you are all giving me some light humour in the catastrophe that has become my life in the past week of 7 HPT's (Yes 7!)

I am officially over it now. I got a BFN every time. Even this morn. AF due tomorrow, or could be Mon or Tues, with beta on Wed. I aint holdin out much hope now Aunty!! That faint "shadow" that I thought I saw turns up on the strip tests, which is obviously just an evaporation 'shadow' as it hasn't gotten any darker at all. Oh how I've stared and stared at that line. I have a whole heap of HPTs lined up in my bathroom and I inspect each & every one of them every hour :D I had another wine last night as I figured why torment myself any longer!

No twinges here..nuttin but I did have a couple early on in the piece. Massive sore BBs and veiny nipples is all I have to report and a temp this morn of 36.89, but that's prob all coz of the prog bulletts.

AUNTY - YOU CRACK ME UP!!!!!!!!!!!! You are a saviour on these forums. How I would love to meet you all in person. Maybe we should put together a world wide IVF/infertilty convention! If only I get to post that OMG message. Not this time, but maybe in a month or two ey. I'm not givin up yet.

Well I'm off to sing the national anthem at the 'BRIDE TO BE' races. Stinkin hot day here and gotta try and pour these boobs into a nice frock :-/

Bring on some good news ladies and keep feelin those BBs & itchin those itches and inspectin those nipples and studying the toliet tissue and driving our DH's crazy. Mine is convinced I have an internet lover. I told him I do...there's just too many of them though to say...!!

Lots luv

I made a quick search and found this on an ivf website. Thought I'd share:

I have spotted, and it is not time for my period. Was it implantation spotting?
Implantation spotting is the exception rather than the rule. Sometimes the procedures themselves can irritate the cervix and cause light brown spotting afterwards. Sometimes when the uterus shifts from being estrogen to progesterone dominant you will get a little bit of spotting. Light spotting can be normal, but contact your physician with any concerns.

My breasts are tender, or I have cramps, or am irritable, nauseated, or bloated, or, I am gaining a small amount of weight. It is not yet time for my pregnancy test. Could these be signs of pregnancy?
You are probably feeling the effects of the hormones you are taking. It's really too early to be feeling anything as a result of a pregnancy. Implantation normally takes place about 5-10 dpo, but even after that it takes a couple of days for the hCG (which is what causes pregnancy symptoms) to build up in the blood stream. The presence of these symptoms does not indicate pregnancy, and the absence of them does not indicate a failed cycle.

Some more goodies from IVF clinics' websites:

It is not unusual for you to have some vaginal spotting or bleeding prior to your pregnancy test. Approximately 50% of our pregnancy patients have spotting prior to pregnancy tests, or even afterward. THINK POSITIVE! You must have the blood work drawn even if you think your period has started.

Desperate stick wife

What ya think of my title :D
Hi everyone... How's it hangin? Mine are hangin pretty darn low but thanks for askin!
Aunty you wonderful lady... I am holdin up OK (except the BBs). I didn't pee on the stick this morn - woo hoo! can't stand another day of BFN, so I'm movin on ladies. AF due today and grumpy as all hell, so it's just a matter of time. Don't worry about not having any symptoms. It's way too early for all that and everyone is different by the sounds of it! I always suffer sore BBs right before AF but mine have been sore and BIG for a month now, so I know it's just the drugs. I'm still taking my temp though and it had gone up again this morn to 37.04, so ye old digital thermometer has taken the place of the POAS!! I'm goin with the stick that's gonna offer me a glimpse of hope in the final hours :)
Hey if you look on the POAS website, some of those +ve tests do look like evap lines! maybe just maybe..hee hee
Well lovelies, I have replaced despair with humour and I'm seriously contemplating buying another bird. I have 2 birds at home - both tame and gorgeous. I tame birds in my spare time. I'm a wally..
Better get back on my Feb post and get the ladies up to speed on my POAS adventures..
Counting down now...

If there is no spotting is that bad? I am 2dpt3dt with 3 embies, maybe it's to soon, what do you think?

How is everyone else feeling? This wait is driving me crazy!
