Hi Alison - that's so sweet of you to post. I did indeed have e/c today. They've collected 18, so I'm feeling really pleased, but obviously now onto the next set of worries about whether they'll fertilise, how they'll grow etc. While you're there, can I ask you a quick question about acupuncture? I've been continuing with the acupuncture, and have an appointment for Friday evening (assuming e/t's Saturday). I know there's a study that shows having it again immediately after they put the embies back in too is good, but am a bit worried about doing some harm. When did you stop having it? You must be getting pretty big now! Hope you're enjoying your pregnancy, love Alison

Dear Alison Just read that you had your embryos put back - now relax, take it easy and let's hope that this time it will be good news. As for the acupuncture, I had it a couple of days after the ET and then continued up until 12 weeks (I only had a couple though). I don't think that there's any harm what so ever in having treatment after the ET and it has been shown to help, so I'd just go for it. If it helps you feel realxed and calm then it can only do you some good. Obviously your acupuncturist knows what you're going through so will be able to tailor the treatment to what you need. I do hope it works - I'll be thinking of you in a couple of weeks time. Love Alison x P.S. I am pretty huge now and only have 4 weeks left at work. Still, not complaining.
