hey ladies

haylie - WOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! congrats on your Image!! oh, you have been through so much, what a miracle!! your post brought tears to my eyes!!

beachbaby - a very tentative congratulations! i really really hope your numbers go up tomorrow. not long now, only one more sleep! thinking of you!!

lara - thanks for asking, i'm ok. had a really bad day yesterday but feeling much much better today. yes, i SO cant wait to start the next stage. only 2 days to go. how you keeping up?? i think your clinic is a disgrace. i dont know what the cancellation policy is for an FET cycle at our clinic but with an IVF cycle you get a full refund minus 500 pounds if it has been cancelled any time before EC. for IUIs and stuff like that you get a full refund minus 100 pounds. hugs!

sophie - great to hear from you. glad you're keeping well and egypt sounds fantastic!! big big hugs to you!!

bwhd - so good to hear that you should be able to carry on with your march cycle. fingers, toes and everything crossed for you. sorry to hear about your surgery but if it means your march cycle will be all the smoother, then fantastic. when is your surgery?? will be thinking of you!

aunty darling - how are you doing??

ange - thanks honey. glad you have your PMA back!! i really hope your littluns are snuggling in just lovely! i'll definitely have a look into that book.

arizona - sorry to hear about your troubles. unfortunately i cant help as its my first cycle but i would be very interested to hear what other people have to say. xx

jem - did you start BC today or do you start BC on the 15th march?? how you doing??

thats it from me...ooohh, actually just saw - aunty and tc - thank you for your well wishes. just got back and they have taken a blood test to check if i have downregulated and i have to phone for the results of that at 3pm tomorrow (wed). they also taught me how to use the injection pen...they got me to do it on this fake skin pad and that seemed ok so i think i will try and master it myself on thursday. oh you are so right, i cant wait to start stimms now!!

Good morning ladies!

Still doing great! AF pains seem to have calmed down a little bit, so it's a relief. Tried a new Pilates routine this morning (got the DVD yesterday) and it's far more aerobic! whew, my legs are shaking, lol! But I walked the equivalent of 3.5 miles and burned 300-350 calories! So that's not bad! :)

tc: Glad you loved my rant! :) I didn't realize that it shocked you so deep that you want to change Abby's custody. But of course, if your maternal instincts tell you her healthy development might be threatened by your ex's wife, then by all means, follow them. *hugs* Thanks for thinking of me; I sure did the same! :) And if I were you, I would use that leftover peanut butter for your ex's wife... ;)

Haylie: oh, it's SO nice to have news! Hello there! CONGRATULATIONS about your little bundle of joy! What a nice surprise! It sure changes the focus and overall vibe of the thing, doesn't it? I'm SO happy to hear that you're over the moon with this! You're very brave my dear, and I'm sure you'll be a fabulous mom! :D Enjoy the next 8 months as much as possible!

bigwhitehappydog: sorry to hear you'll have to go through surgery, but I'm amazed that your docs can react that fast! Good for you that you can still carry on with the cycle in March, it must be such a big relief for you sweetie! Good luck on the surgery; it will be worth it! :D

Ange: I'm very happy to see that your PMA is back! Way to go sweetie! Remember all the ladies here who supposedly got lower grade embies and became pregnant with healthy babies all the same! :D And think of my embryologist... he said that grades were only good for research and that they shouldn't even be discussed during an IVF cycle. To him, embryos are either good for transfer, or not good for transfer and that's that. ;)

Arizonakiwi: oh please my darling, don't worry about bothering us! Technically, you do belong to the Feb thread, but hey, we would miss you so much if you left this thread! :D I don't see why anyone could be offended with your very justified questions, no matter where they are in their cycles... I'm very sorry if I can't help you more with that, however. But yes, I do know that the "other" meds you take with your stimming meds are there to prevent you from ovulating; that's why they keep you on it. Hang in there sweetie; it's not an easy time for you and I think of you often. You'll soon have answers; for now, it's unfortunately out of your control.

beachbaby: thanks for your kind words! Good luck on your test!!! :D

jemima: hello there! :D Keeping everything crossed about those polyps! *hugs*

shantala: Good luck with your test today! It will be exciting to pass to the next phase! :) Anxious to hear the news! Don't worry, the pen is a breeze!

Okay, gotta run, so have a lovely day all of you!

Sophie....Damn I wish I would have thought of that! It's BRILL!!!!! Although I did go shopping today and got these super cute boots on clearance and they have little spikey heels....I could jam those into her eyes!

So, latlely I have been feeling un-appreciated and un-noticed by DH, well yesterday I was started playing with outfits for Saturday when I go out with the girls, and when DH came home he said I didn't even look like myself, and he just kept starring at me all night. Needless to say he came to bed early and we actually talked about my ex's wife. I am 100% over her now and decided she is not worth my time.

Shantala I am so excited that you are going to be the newest pin cushion!!!! YIPPIE!!!!

Hey girls...

Haylie: Ahhhhh. SOOOOO happy for you! I am wishing you 9 healthy months of pregnancy.

Beachbaby: i am praying that those #s rise on Wed!

Mom: GL on job interview. Sorry, no good ideas on what they might ask.

Rachel: WHAT??? That is crap that you don't get at least a partial refund since you didn't make it to ET. I agree.... raise a ruckus.

BWHD: sorry to hear you have to have surg... but i am glad to hear they will have you good and ready to cycle again. Let us know when your surg is. Good luck!

Ange: you asked about my frosties (or at least future frosties  ). I will be doing 3 fresh cycles through retrieval. All 2pns will be frozen. Then there will be one massive thaw at the end of july and we will do pgd on all of them. SOOOOO, as my bil pointed out yest.... i am simply a glorified hen for the next few months!!!

AZkiwi: girl, all questions are appropriate here. I unfortunately don't have much input for you. I am hoping that you were able to get answers from your clinic. Hang in there!

Shantala: expecting good news for you today! ooooo, can't wait to see you in the "Stimming" part of the list!

For me guys, it has been one h*ll of a 36 hrs. Warning: i am going to talk about my infant niece... So i told you guys she was admitted to the nicu and wasn't doing well, and that dh was sick. Well, yest am... both of them had worsened. I saw niece in hospital early am as she wasn't doing well, then to work, then had most of the afternoon off ... which was a good thing as i needed to take dh to urgent care as his temp was staying above 102' (about 39.5'C) and he looked ashen. While at urgent care, got frantic call from sil that niece not oxygenating well... worried they would be intubating her. So, got dh home with medications, food, and tucked in bed, then was back over to the hospital with niece and sil. Then back home to take care of dh. We actually have a TON of family in town... but ALL OF THEM are sick with the stomach flu except dh (who appears to have pneumonia... yep tc, feeling your pain  ), and then sil/bil and me who are the only healthy ones trying to take care of everyone else. Luckily, both niece and dh seem to have turned a good corner overnight... so we will see. At least dh got some good sleep last night (finally... thank you codeine!!!). Niece is still VERY sick, but didn't have to be intubated.. so thank the Lord for that. I, though, am exhausted!!!! Being in the medical field... I feel very responsible for everyone, especially for making sure everyone is getting the care they need. I couldn't get out of work today... so i am sitting here at work hoping they both improve... feeling very helpless!!! We could use all the prayers over here that you guys can send us!

Hope you all are well!

Sassy honey I am sorry that you have to feel my pain. I can 100% promise you though that DH should be back to "normal" in a day or two. That coedine is wonderful!!!!!! and seems to do the trick.

As for your niece I am praying that she continues to improve. I hate the thought of lil ones sick in a hospital.

Well hopefully all those sick people will get better and help you take care of the rest. Don't run yourself into the ground though or you will be the next to get sick. HUGS!!!!!

tc: you crack me up dear! And I cracked up with a mouthful of spaghetti; I'm glad that I'm alone with the furr balls right now! ;) It was very elegant! Love the spikey heels idea, but wait till your're well into your second trimester for that... the weight will help you have a deeper impact! ;)

Seriously, I'm really glad that you talked about it with your DH and that you're over it now. I'm glad you realized she is not worth your time, because indeed, she's not. I'm also glad that you got an occasion to let your DH know that you weren't feeling too well. TOo bad it took him so long, but eh, he got there eventually!

sassy: you poor thing, this is quite a situation you're in! And not having many people to rely on through that crisis must NOT be easy at all, not to mention that you're working in addition to all that! I'm really sorry to hear that your niece's state has worsened, but terribly relieved that she seems to be doing better. Hang in there darling! Things will get better! I hope all your devoted care will receive some well-deserved appreciation! *hugs* You have my thoughts, vibes and prayers! And tons of cyber chocolate pies to help you cope through it! ;)

druiett I'm sorry to hear that your clinic's attitude made you anxious... But if I were you, I would stop reading this post right now and I would call them. It's your right to know exactly why they don't release you completely yet and want a third ultrasound. Ask and insist until you get answers; worrying at home and thinking of thousands of possible explanations (or ask them on the internet) will only worsen your anxiety and give you no answer. Keep us posted sweetie, and hang in there! *hugs*
