Druiett yes very much heard of this at this stage its very hard to tell much concrete, please try not to worry the news you saw to beanies both with heartbeats is a great sign...they have no way to know if your smaller beanie implanted later than the bigger one, it could also have been the angle the beanie was at, i promise you i have seen many many times beanies not measuring up at this age but go onto be wonderful full term babies sending hugs and pray next week brings you brighter news

Hey all - been catching up on some of the posts -- had to go off the board for a while to lick my wounds after our BFN. We are going for another round in March - it will again be a short protocol, so we'll be ER and Eting sometime towards the end of March, early April testing.

Question, did any try accupunture or accupressure and have a successful cycle? any suggestions?

Empmtb - I'm glad you have the opportunity to try again in March - not long to go and with a short cycle time will pass even faster. I haven't tried acupuncture but I have seen some really good statistics about the positive effect it can have. If this cycle doesn't work for me I'm going to give it a go if we are able to have a second try.

Thanks Fiona, ½ way through your 2ww I bet you can’t wait for the 26th !!!

I Just got a call from the clinic - it's not looking good - they even asked me if I had in fact stopped the prugeon as my levels are still going up. I haven't touched it since Saturday night. The nurse I spoke to this afternoon was a lot better than yesterday (it must not be looking good as she kept saying sorry and that I must be feeling really uncomfortable at present)

I found out 22 actually means 2,200 and the estrogen level has risen over the last 5 days from 5 - 1,800 - 2,200 - 2,600 - 2,900 today. I remember the Doctor saying before we started that there was a possibility I would react to strongly but because I was feeling so good I had hoped it was all going to be ok.

I have to have another blood test tomorrow and if it hasn't come down they will cancel the cycle - they are also concerned 4 days with out prugeon isn't looking good for the eggs.

I did hope all we had against us was DH's lack of boys getting though - now the worry that I have always tried to push to the back of my mind that there is something wrong with me also is starting surface again.

So I’m off to get some more needles – I used my last one this morning !!! and hope for a perfect result with my blood test tomorrow.

Good luck for tomorrow Arizona! I think sometimes it takes a while for the clinic to get our meds right. If the worst happens I'm sure they will review your and alter your meds. What strength Purgeon were you on??

empmtb- I did accu this last try throughtout my cycle and this time i went in right before and right after transfer, and this try (my 5th) I got my BFP???
I have heard MANY success stories, but it is a personal decision dfinitely!

emp - although i'm having accu at the moment i cant help as its my first cycle. but the studies on it show much better success rates than someone not doing accu. if you google IVF and accupuncture you'll find loads of studies!

arizona - i am hoping and praying and keeping everything crossed for tomorrow. i really, really hope these numbers will fall...good luck!! x

Ange, sorry i missed you last post, glad everything is calm now, hope your not finding the 2ww too stessful, i was totally calm about it this time.

Arizona, i am sending prayers your way that your test tomorrow is ok. keep your chin up.

Sassy, what a time your having, i hope DH and DN are both doing better and you are not as harrassed too much longer. Take care and try to relax a bit.

Druit, I am sorry your clinic are making you worry, i hope your results next week are able to put everyones mind at rest, try to keep the PMA.

As for me had blood drawn this morning again, the doctor doesn't hold out much hope, i can call for results after 4. If this is another bio chemical, i will be having more tests before i start another cycle, to see if i have a problem. i have to wait 2 AF's anyway but the tests may bump me back further, will have to see when my next consult is, usually takes about 6-8 weeks to get a slot as they are so busy.
