Mom.. I had a bad allergic reaction to the sesame oil with my December cycle, but it was actually after I stopped the shots. In any event, I am using olive oil this round and the only difference I've noticed is I have huge bumps at the injection sites as if the medicine is just building up in there. I'm also really bruised from the blood thinner I'm on, but none of the itching I had with the sesame. I'm also allergic to nuts so peanut oil wasn't an option. So far so good with the olive. I read on this thread to try a heating pad after the shot and to also try it laying down to relax the muscle, so that's what I'll do tonight.

Shantala....You go girl! Stimms Away!!!!!!! Congrats!

Arizona... i'm so sorry your cycle was cancelled. You must be so disappointed. I'm glad that you aren't losing your funding and won't have to worry about that. It's probably pretty miraculous that the RE's get it right the first time with any of our bodies. Sassy had a great point, he now knows how to treat you and will monitor you very closely. A friend of mine overstimmed 2 cycles ago and is now BFP from her 3rd cycle. Good Luck sweetie

Sassy...so glad to hear your niece is better and coming home soon. By the way, I stalk your blue stiletto thread and find it incredibly entertaining. What great posts.

Beach... so sorry your betas are going down. I pray they figure this out for you quickly so you don't have to go through the super high followed by the low. I've been there and it just sucks!

Cinny/Aunty/Susette.......GOOD LUCK LADIES, I'm sure this thread will have more log ons tomorrow than any other. We'll all be looking for you special ladies! ((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))))

Hi Ladies, first off thank you all for your support at this time, it means a lot knowing i have people to share this with.

Shantala, well done enjoy the stimming and woo hoo on reduccing the sniffing, not long now. take care.

Aunty, Cinny and susette good luck for today.

arizona, so sorry you have been cancelled, i hope your body settles down fast and you can start again soon, i also seem to hve a problem we did not know about we thought it was just male factor.i was in two minds regarding IVF i thought what will be will be, but having started on the journey i realise how much i want a baby.i hope your dream comes true soon take care.

Ange, thankyou for your kind words, unfortunately this is the second time this has happened so not holding out much hope, although last time ot went straight down fastt, If this is another chemical i will have more tests to see if i have any problems preventing the pregnancies continuing.

momiw, only two more days to wait, hope your feelinng better soon on the new shots.

As for me feeling ok DH is convinced its all over again, waiting just dellays the next start. He gave me a rest this morning but i am about to set off for work. i am keeping the PMA as miracles do happen.

Shantala: what a beautiful thought you wrote there! God only puts on us what we can deal with... I love that thought! :D Thanks so much for sharing! CONGRATULATIONS for starting the stimms! Whoohoo, I'm SO EXCITED for you! Jumping inwardly here at the lab! ;) Grow eggies, grow! And don't forget to keep prepping your DH... he's supposed to be semi-okay now, so he's got no excuse! He can get up and running (pun intended!) How are you doing with the injections?

beachbaby: aw, man! Those numbers are pure torture! you come such a long way, you get an iffy BFP and the uncertainty just draaags! It must be SO uncomfortable for you! I'm really sorry! But well... stable can go both ways... up or down... so I think there is still room for hope. But you have all my sympathy for your situation, I know it's not funny at all. *hugs* Hang in there! And I hope you get better numbers real soon!

sassy: I'm very happy to hear that your niece is out of the NICU and that your DH is getting better! Whew, what a relief! I was thinking about you a lot, you know, trying to send good waves. Hang in there my dear! And don't forget your daily intake of chocolate! (tell yourself it's exclusively for your serotonine levels)

Angela: I'm very sorry that your cycle had to be cancelled... I really think you're an amazing and strong lady as well, you know. It's normal to lose it from time to time because hey, that project IS very important indeed! And it's always difficult when your body lets you down at some point in the process. But I'm really glad that they let you get back on the roller coaster ride right away; it will reduce the impression of waiting forever till your next cycle and keep you proactive. In the meantime, I hope you'll get good rest so your ovaries get back in the right shape. My thoughts stay with you and it will be good to have news when you cycle again! Take care sweetheart! *hugs*

Have a great day!
