1st ultrasound today

Hi everyone, I know I have been MIA from the board about a week, but I had gone out of town to visit my cousin to get away.

I had my first u/s today & I am at 6w3d. It was the most wonderful experience. The sac looks great RE says its even little larger than expected, and we saw a small flicker of a heartbeat...

That was the most awesome thing to see the heartbeat. I can now rest easy and relax a bit. I can now actually feel this might actually be for real !!!!

Congrats, Rekha! It's so awesome, seeing him/her for the first time, isn't it? I was just blown away---still am, as a matter of fact!

Rekha..Congrats!! Its sure is amazing! I felt the same as you maybe I can now believe this is really happening. We have a lot of good babes coming in the FALL. Again. congrats and enjoy. Did you get a picture? We did and she looks like a "diamond in the rough" as my husband says.

It's a little easier to sleep now huh? Can you believe that in such a short time there is this little heart beating? Chokes me up just thinking about mine yesterday! I wish I could do it everyday!
