Labs a bad sign???

Post by kim0907 »

I had my transfer of 3 embies on 2/15 and am now on the wait. I am perfectly normal except for sore joines and breasts (the progestrone) so I am pretty sure I am not pregnant.

I had my progestrone level and estradiol levels drawn today and both were low. Est was 92 and she just said my proges. was too low. I was put on Estrace nightly and now instead of 1ml progest shot I am on 1 ml 2x a day. My beta is Monday. Is the fact that my levels are down a really bad sign? I believe I had this drawn when I did my IUI's and did not have any problems with Estradiol and Progest, but I never did get pregnant with an IUI treatment. Is this really bad news? Is it a pretty good indication that I am not pregnant??

TIA for your help. The waiting is so hard....

None of that has anything to do with whether your embryos have implanted.

They are almost certainly adjusting your meds in order to keep your serum levels within a preferred range. It's routine.

Sit tight. There are no symptoms yet. That's why they need the test.

Best of luck, Kim.

Kim--Don't go by how you are feeling. Your body is lying, lying, lying to you right now. I felt the same during my bfn as I did at the beginning of this pregnancy--it's the progesterone messing with you. All you can do is sit back and wait. (I know, it sucks!) Wishing you the best---
