HI Ladies! I know I’m a little late but I just wanted to do some personals. You have all been on my mind and I have been in here reading but haven’t had the time to post. So get ready for my book.

Arizona—The same thing happened to me. My Estrogen levels were way too high. RE was worried about HSS. So he stopped me from taking the Stims for one night and then I did the trigger the next night. The eggs will still grow but not as much as they would with the Stims. I still had some nice mature eggs so don’t worry yourself. Remember this process needs to be as stress free as possible. Also, your dr is doing a good thing by pulling back the stims. HSS can get serious (not to scare you or anything). But he is just looking out for your health…which means he’s a good doctor.

Dex—I am so sorry about AF. I think changing clinics might not be a bad idea. Also, working with someone new can give you a new and fresh perspective.

Kswann—Wow, 8 embies is amazing and here I was freaking out over 3 yesterday. I decided to do two instead. I hope I don’t regret it. But yeah, you are a strong cookie for being around ex, with wife and baby. But I’m so glad to hear that you had your supportive DH there. Let’s not forget that your baby was also there, in your belly resting and growing. Love your DH! Isn’t it wonderful to have someone so supportive in your life. It really does make this a little easier. Don’t give up hope on your little embies. Think Positive..and positive things will happen.

Carolyn—I TOTALLY agree with you! I have decided to go see my friends’ baby either tomorrow or Sunday. I think it would be easier to go while I’m in the early stages of the 2ww. And before I get my results. Because if I get my results and it’s a BFN, I probably will not be in such good spirits and not want to see her newborn. But you never know. I am a good friend and I try to be as supportive as possible. But since I know myself I think it would be best to see the baby before I learn my destiny. lol How is your DH? Any better? Seems the flu is going around.

Mumtojaz—8 eggs is terrific! 7 Fertilized is awesome. That’s how many I had! When is your transfer? How is the wedding and moving coming along? Sorry your not feeling to great. Is it any better today? Good Luck on your wedding. It’s only two days away. I know you are excited!

Jul—I’m also on progesterone pessaries. I have mild cramps now and I am tired a lot. Do you have any of these symptoms before your transfer? Now after the transfer., I’m having mild cramping again. I pray to God it’s not AF. I feel your pain about everyone around you being pregnant or a new parent. One of my closest friends just had a baby earlier this week. I need to go see her. I’m going to do before I get my results.

Mominwaiting – Did they change your shots? Are you feeling any better?

Jen—I will be praying that your weight falls off. Good luck with the scan!

Pep and Reach—How are you ladies?

Well we transferred 2 blastocyts, grade D yesterday. The doctor told me that grade D was the highest so I am very excited about that. I had 3 blastocyts, grade D but only chose to transfer 2. Not ready for tripplets. I pray that I didn’t make a bad decision. Although right now, I don’t have any regrets about it. We also didn’t freeze the other one. It was way too expensive for us right now. Right now I am in the bed relaxing. I have slight cramping right now. Called my RE and he said that was normal. It could be from the stims and the over-stimulating of the ovaries. But he wants me to take my temperature to make sure there is no infection. I actually feel the cramping more since the transfer. But since he told me it was normal, I’m trying not to over-analyze everything I feel. I thought the shots were the hardest part of this entire process. Actually the wait is.

Hope you all are doing well.

Sending you all positive vibes and sticky baby dust!

Love to you all!

Good Luck Wannababy sound like you are doing well, I had some cramping the day of transfer but nothing bad.
They finally sent new progesterone yesterday, took first shot of it this morning, can't really tell if it is any better or not to be honest I think that the damage to my hips and bottom is too far advanced to feel any difference. I will take a while for the swelling and pain that I have to go away, My DH is ready for it all to stop and keeps threatening to not give me the shot, he knows that I am a strong person and this must be really bad to put me down like this, of course when he sees the huge knots on each hip it is obvious. I never in my wildest of dreams thought that there would be any part of this procedure that would cause this kind of pain, I am just truly hoping that it is just because of wrong med.
GOOD LORD, I AM PROBABLY GIVING SOME OF THESE WOMEN THAT HAVE NOT STARTED SHOTS YET A HEART ATTACK!!!
I REALLY THINK IT WAS JUST WRONG MED FOR ME, LOTS OF OTHER SAY IT IS NOT SUPPOSE TO BE THIS BAD, SO DON'T WORRY TO MUCH JUST A LITTLE ADVISE: IF IT IS REALLY BAD DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT BEFORE IT GETS TO FAR LIKE I DID. I know that if I have a BFP on Sat I am going to insist being switched to Crinone supp. RE did not watn to switch to supp until after BETA so there ya go.

Hi Ladies,

Well, I test tomorrow and I'm absolutely terrified! Have been really miserable and grumpy all day and worrying that AF could be approaching but I've also been feeling a bit quesy - but that could be all the worry! Oh the joy of it all! I started the day with a visit to my friend with her newborn, like you other ladies I decided to do it before I find out my results because I'm not sure I could do it next week if it's bad news. Trying to think positive. Was meant to go out with some girlfriends tonight but decided to have a "headache" and hit the couch instead, wasn't feeling very sociable and at least one pregnant friend would be there so couldn't really cope with asking her how she was feeling tonight of all nights.

Dex I'm so so very sorry it didn't happen this time. It will happen though, it's just a question of time.

Good luck everyone who is nearing the end of the 2ww. Isn't this what we've been waiting for but now I kind of wish it wasn't tomorrow!

Loving all the baby dust. Baby dust to you all too.

love and everything crossed

Mominwaiting---I just noticed this is your third cycle of IVF. Is this the first time you are on this medication that does this to your legs? Are they trying this new medication because you had BFN’s with the others? My RE changed my meds after the first cycle (and BFN). Sometimes I feel like a lab rat. Okay, so that didn’t work, let’s try this. Guess that didn’t help. Sorry. Well let’s hope this new medication works for you and you get your BFP on Saturday. I will be praying for you. I pray that everything all works out and that your pain from the shots are not in vain. Keep your head up. Only a couple of more days until your BFP. Just keep saying it. Speak it into the universe….BFP. :D

Jul—Good Luck with your test tomorrow. Wishing you the best. I just got off the phone with my friend who just had a baby. She was telling me all about the trials and tribulations of labor. She is still in the hospital. Still trying to figure out how I can fit going to visit her in my schedule before I get my results. I, like you, need to see the baby before I find out what’s going on with me. How was the visit? Does your friend know you are awaiting “your results”? Does she know about the IVF? Mine doesn’t. She just knows that we are having trouble conceiving and are thinking about IVF. Haven’t had the heart to tell many people that we are going thru it right now. Don’t want them waiting or asking about the results. Cant wait to hear your news. Keep saying it...BFP! BFP! BFP! :D

Come on ladies, I think we deserve some BFP's in here...no pressure though. :P

Carolyn—Take lots of Orange Juice and vitamin C. We can’t have you sick. Need you nice and healthy for your embies. I pray that they are growing nice and strong. Keep us posted about the scan.

Hope everyone else is doing well. Love and baby dust to you all.

Hi girls - just popping in to see how you are progressing...

Dex - I'm so sorry hun  ...I'm glad you found some light again and are looking forward. My RE told me on my last BFN to take a day and cry and hate and then put it in its place and move forward. Stay strong and we'll be here for your next go. Switching clinics sounds like a smart move - good luck!

Wannababy - Yea! Two great Embies - glad your ET went so well. Enjoy this 2WW and lots of baby dust to you :)

Julie - goodluck tomorrow. Lots of prayers your way!

mominwaiting - unbelievable about the shots  . Hopefully the new meds will help. Don't we go through enough already!?!

To the rest of you...good luck and hope all is coming along.

As for me, just waiting to surge so I can began the process...and saying lots of prayers for everyone else!!

XOXO

Hello Fellow Courageous Women!
Boy, that makes me sound more perky than I feel for sure! First, thanks to everyone who responded to my email. SOOOO great to know what I'm going through is not a total exercise in solitude. (DH is great, but still, not the one carrying all this out in his body.)

Technically, our test date was today. I have chosen to delay until Monday. The 'conference' I'm at is actually a meditation/spiritual retreat (not work as someone said, I don't think I could do that!) so there is some comfort in that. I have had cramps for the last three days and it's making me nutty that I don't know if they are because my body wants to have a period but can't because of the progesterone, or if it's because I'm pregnant. Does anyone have any experience with this? Funny how I could find out tomorrow if I wanted to.... but I don't. Go figure. I think you ladies probably understand that...

Dex - I'm so sorry. I was LIVID when I read in your message that a Dr. told you they wouldn't look into more unless you'd had two miscarriages and some failed attempts. I can't tell you how upset that would make me. "Here, suffer for a year and then we'll give you some more of our time." grrrr. Also that they only put back embryo. That would just be so hard for me. I don't thin you're being pushy at all -- I think you're being a wonder-woman and that you should fell comfortably advocating to the tilt. I'm really glad you're shifting ot another clinic. I hope that is a comfort for you and that you find a way to treat yourself like an angel in the next week or so. Really. I think we should be rolled up in cotton balls and fed sorbet with a string quartet in the background when we get a BFN. Sending my love....

wannababyIVF - Great to hear about the blasts. Are you feeling good about the transfer??

mumtojazzie -- glad to hear that 7 fertilized. Keep us posted!

That's it for me for now. Apparently the ex I wrote about and his wife asked my husband if I would want to have dinner with them and their baby. Ah, I don't think so. I guess they didn't put two and two together to deduce that we were doing fertility treatment.

Anyway, hang-in-there everyone, wherever you are in your cycle.

xoxo

Hi all,

Well the urine sample's been handed in, another difference over here it seems since everyone else seems to get a blood test. I'm nervous and excited and scared, not nearly so grumpy as yesterday. I guess what will be will be. Still feeling a bit sick which I'm, of course hoping is of the morning variety not the worrying variety! Who knows! I should hear from the clinic at lunchtime. Going to meet DH for lunch so hopefully we'll be together when the call comes in.

wannababyIVF, I had cramping before my transfer as I was a bit over stimulated so I think my ovaries were huge, I looked pregnant. the cramps carried on on and off during 2ww but felt different to AF cramps. I've heard of people cramping and then getting a BFP so hopefully not to worry. No my friend doesn't know we're doing IVF, only close family does. We, like you, didn't want the questions, it's hard enough people knowing we've been ttc for 3 years, yes I stupidly was all open about it back then, wish I hadn't been. We seem to be in the same boat. I hope we both get the BFP we deserve! Thanks for your lovely wishes.

Mumtojazz, have a wonderful time on your big day and lots of luck for the honeymoonish baby!!!

Wannababy, hope the shots are getting easier. Lots of luck to you for Saturday.

Carolyn, hope the scan went well, are they on their way?

REACH-AEJ and Jen1d, thank you for your luck and prayers, it's so amazing having you ladies rooting for me! Lots of luck to you both too. Jen, I know what you mean about time to rest, there's just not enough hours in the day! Keep trying though.

Kswann and Mominwaiting good luck for your testing, let's go for 3 BFPs!

Soooooooooooooooooooo scared!

Wannababy this is my first IVF cycle I had two natural pregnancies before, that were 8 yrs apart, both ending in miscarriage at 9 wks. Don't exactly know why but Dr seem to think that was just coincidence soooo if I get pregnant again I will be dreading everything until after the 9th week. The last m/c in 2004 I had an US at 9wks exactly after being in hospital for a week with severe sickness, I lost 9 pounds first week of I knew I was pregnant, couldn't keep anything down at all. Anyway, was sent home baby looked fine I felt great for next 2 wks, went back for appt, and the baby had died at 9wks and 2 days. I had no idea of it, I just thought that I was feeling better because of new diet. First m/c in 1996 I was sick when I found out I was pregnant, which wound up in pneumonia and me in hospital. I am beginnning to think pregnancy makes me ill!! WHEW :)
Jen Hope you get to feeling better
KswannI have been having these cramps too, not sure abotu them either. Maybe we will find out 2morrow!!
JulieGOOD LUCK SWEETIE, WILL BE WAITING FOR RESULTS!!! AND PRAYING BFP!!!
Anyway I just wanted to say I cheated and took an HPT and it is +ive is it possible for it to be wrong? The only HCG shot I have had was 2days before ER on the 8th, I took a test on Mon and it was -ive. So what do you think?

First things first….Wooohooo Mominwaiting!!! I will remain cautiously optimistic for you until the official result but I think a + HPT is a great sign sweetie!! At 2 weeks past your HCG shot I would think that + is coming from a little beanie!!! How many did you transfer?

Julie- Can't wait to hear your BFP!! I've got everything crossed for you that you and DH will receive good news today!! :D

Jen- Sorry to hear you aren't feeling well honey. :( Rest up this weekend!!! I have my baseline scan on the 28th as well. If all looks good when will you start Stimming? I'm scheduled to start my Stimms next Friday if AF arrives as scheduled (jigging as I type this!)

Kswann- I can totally understand why you wanted to delay the test date. I hope that this weekend is restful and relaxing for you. Keeping your center and good PMA will help those embies snuggle in even stronger!! Best of luck to you on Monday though. I will be on pins and needles waiting to hear the news!! And by the way, dinner with the ex and new baby?? Is he crazy?!?! Good choice on opting out of that one…

AEJ- So what is next for you? I know you said you're waiting to surge…sorry, not sure what you mean by that. Will you be downregging or do you go straight to Stimms?

Wannababy- Way to go on a successful ET!! Two back on board wooohooo!!!! Sending lots of sticky vibes your way!!

Carolyn- Hope your scan goes great today. Grow follies grow. I hope everything looks perfecto!! My first scan is Wednesday by the way, thanks for asking! How's DH? Hopefully feeling better.

Mumtojazzie- 7 out of 8…you go girl!!! Great fert report!!! Have a fabulous wedding tomorrow and a successful ET on Monday. Sending lots of baby dust and bride-to-be dust your way!! 8)

Arizona- What's the status with your cycle? Did you get the green light to trigger and have EC? Sorry if I missed it….Hope all is well!

99- I believe you should be having your Beta today??? BABY DUST TO YOU!!! I hope you are well. Please check in and let us know how its going for you.

Anita- How are you sweetie? Did you make it to your appointment ok?

Angie65- Did you have another scan today? How are your follies looking?? Grow follies grow!!!

Well better get back to work as lunch is almost over. I'm anxiously awaiting some BFPs today and in the next few days!!

Lots of love and baby dust to all!

Mominwaiting---WOW! I sure hope that is correct. Sounds like if it went from neg to positive this week...it should be right!!! We can only hope and pray. :D

Hi Pep - surge means I'm waiting for my LH surge and then I'll start meds 10 days after that...I'll have AF visit and start my stims on the first day of menses. Then do ER 8-13 days later. Sometimes those home tests don't pick up a surge so I go in Monday to see what's going on. Nothing exciting yet!
How are things going for you??

I only transfered one embie, we had three, two were early blast grade 2 and the other was not looking so good, we did not want to chance twins on first try so we just transfered one and froze the other one. I am a nervous wreck now, I have been doing very well before now

Jul—Any news yet? I totally agree with you. I wish I wouldn’t have told people that we were trying. Because now everyone knows something is up because we have been trying for so long and had no success as of yet. People don’t even ask me if we’re going to have children anymore. I guess they know something is going on.

Mominwaiting—Feeling any better? So happy to hear about your BFP from the HPT. I pray that it was accurate! YIPPEE!!! I’m so excited for you!

Carolyn—How are the embies? Are they around the size they need to be?

REACH—Any surge yet? You ready to get the show on the road?

Kswann—You are one brave lady. I don’t think I could postpone my results. As a matter of fact I pushed mine up a day. I didn’t think I could hold out. It’s nice that you are away at a conference that is uplifting and spiritual. I’m hoping it took your mind off all of this. At least for a little while. Honestly, I’m not sure how I feel about the transfer. I’m trying my best to stay positive and not freak out or stress. All these what if’s are running thru my mind. Every time I feel something I’m praying it’s not AF. Words can not describe all that is running thru my head right now. I’m just trying to make it through the week.

Jen—Feeling any better?

Pep—Hey stranger! How are you feeling? Ready to start the stimms?

I am eagerly awaiting everyone’s news! I can’t wait to hear all about the BFPs. :D

Nothing new here. Just came in from visiting friend and her newborn. It was really nice to hold him and smell him. He is so precious. I can’t wait to have one! I am so gald I went to see them before I got my results!
